I can say I can beat mayweather on a fight and that can't be true. I might win some popularity but then i would get stomped on the floor and lose more than what I have earned
It can only be a joke, the only alt may beat bitcoin may be bitcoin cash, but it will takes many years, no other coins can do this.
Many coins tried to beat bitcoin but to no avail or it didnt success. Possible bitcoin cash but yes it takes long to make it happen. Still the best of all bitcoin no one can beat it.

Almost all altcoins says this all the time. But obviously they fail over and over again haha. And with regards to the coin you posted, I wouldn't trust them at all, seems like a big scam to me.

I dont know why people keep talking about bitcoin as a competitor. And I agree with the OP that they mean market capitalization and not in terms of price. We all like crypto and not just one coin so I will be happy this coin also get into the cryptocurrency market.
Never be fooled by others when they claim to replace bitcoin with new coins. This is impossible clearly guys, stay awake! Other coins are not for replacing bitcoin, they're only for making the variety in the markets.
I don't think that there is any altcoin which is a new coin will replace bitcoin because people now only focus with bitcoin although, for the veteran user, they still depend with altcoin to help them to make profits. I think altcoin exist is because they can help us to earn more profit so we can use altcoin to increase our chance to make more bitcoin.
If it will distrupt the entire blockchain then it will be good to invest.. but reading all your thoughts is a totally scam. don't invest.. just do your diligence research it may help you a lot!

in my opinion it will not be possible there is a new altcoin can beat bitcoin because bitcoin has become a father for the other altcoin even the new value until the price is higher than other altcoin, especially now that bitcoin is already rising from the falls some time ago to make us all worry about it

There are no contenders to bitcoin's throne right now, in terms of market cap and tech.
Actually new altcoins are growing excitingly well. And i think this altcoins future will be bright no doubt about it. Like ETH, BCH, XRP, this altcoins are looking very good. hopefully in future this coins can beat bitcoin. But bitcoin is all in all. Bitcoin is a king of crypto and btc is a power of digital currency. So don't think new altcoins can't beat BTC for next 5 years i think.

If just saying it would be easy but if the reality would be difficult and not necessarily true .. what else is said by the new altcoin, before beating the bitcoin there is still the best altcoin that should be preceded. even as altcoin has a lot of expectations but in my opinion it is not easy to reach the top.
Yes it is right because i have done some bounty work on ELECTRONEUM coin and they have good idea and management team and also good partners and developers are working for the progress of ELECTRONEUM coin and they have planed to beat bitcoin and they said it can beat bitcoin but i think it is not so easy for any new coin to beat bitcoin it is not an easy job to compete bitcoin.
