Exchange at the speed of Quantum Entanglement
kwukduck you utter loser , loser really is the correct  word isn't it. You've been here since 2010 , all you had to do was buy and hold , but no, you fucked it all up didnt you , you lost 25 bitcoins on gox with 6000 usd , you laughed at the idea of 10 dollars a bitcoin , you really have to be a complete  an utter cretin to have fucked up this badly , you should be rich . Instead you're just a pathetic moron who missed his shot not once but time and time and time again.

Good god. Don't have a heart attack!

So even with the disapproval Bitcoin still is currently around £1080 here, so is it still worth it to buy some BTC's now? Or to wait for a drop (who knows when)?

And is it worth investing in some other Altcoins?

*sorry am still a noob to this

Bitcoin right now seems to be in a consolidation stage. You can buy or wait for marginal dips. If you plan to hold for the long term, I would suggest go ahead and buy. With the ETF decision out of the way, there seem to be no immediate downside triggers (except maybe a hard fork?)

Yes like most people I am planning to hold it for long term as you can't really do much by holding it short term I think. I have only got a few hundred £ to spend anyway... but sure will get around 0.4BTC now.

Thanks for the advice.

It's hard to say. Clearly, OP is a total FUDster and was once again wrong. ETF disapproval has not caused a new bear market, at least there is no sign for it yet. I have thought about altcoins as well, but because what I've seen in the years before, I haven't dared to touch altcoins ever since. My idea would be to buy the next leg down, but only if it goes down considerably.
I have actually got some altcoins but only a few of each, no more than £400 worth altogether. Just wondering if I should get more really at this time.
Especially with todays economy and Brexit in mind.
And what do you mean by next leg down? What would be your advice?
Cheers.

brexit and other things have nothing to do with altcoin price rises. they are simply getting pumped.
and yeah we have all gotten so many altcoins, some of them more than others because we are all looking for more bitcoin in our storages Wink

it may be a good idea to start thinking about exiting them though. the pumps are nearing the end and the dump will be hard. so be careful.

Thanks for the advice, I have actually not thought about of how to exit these coins. So can you tell me how I go about this, is there like a site that I can use and I simply transfer them the coins and they will do a bank transfer to my bank, is that how it works?

Couldn't agree more, like everyone I also want more Bitcoins! But I am not doing financially well.... so only managed to get around £400 worth of Altcoins and no more than 1BTC Sad

So I am asking all these questions is simply because I want to use my money effectively on buying these coins.

And you said that Brexit does not affect Bitcoins or altcoins, but in that case would it be a good idea to do some forex trading? *am a noob to this again and just try to find an opportunity to make some cash if possible

Not just am I seeing a rise in the price of Bitcoins alone, but we are also witnessing the spikes and shakes in the altcoin markets too, and experiencing some high voltage drama that's going on currently, and I don't see any bears to be happy currently as that dump was a wrong button press by some big guys, but they should know now that bitcoin has been spread to a whole new level that not just a single person can end this up with their false intentions.

How does this guy keep posting? I would be ashamed after so many FUD predictions, this guy just keeps making fail after fail.

Now that we can look at the thread creation history, you can see a collection of failed predictions.

With bitcoin crashing hard again and continuing it's downtrend of almost -10% today it's clear we've entered a new bear market for the unforseeable future.

The problems are only getting bigger and bigger.

ETF will be declined. Chinese exchanges will soon be shut down. US governments are probably also going to crack down on crypto.
There is no solution to the scaling problem and all proposals are being rejected by a stuborn and ubthinking community.

We will hit $800 by the end of the week and are  probably not going to get that high anytime after that..

I'm really befmginning to doubt there's still anything to do to repair all the damage and actually fiz bitcoin.

I really do not know why you are so bearish about the bitcoin market. Maybe you're just the sort of person to be depressed in real life? Like man, you don't even have any proof or any graphs to back up what you are saying. Maybe you're shorting bitcoin yourself as a trader, rather unsuccessfully I'd say?

Well here's the thing: bitcoin hasn't gone down to $800 at all, in fact it never actually stayed under the sub-$1000 level for more than half a day. It is now back, stronger than ever, at a price level that has still exceeded the 2013 ATH.

Obviously there is a risk of it crashing down, i just don't think it is probable right now. Especially when we see that ETF decision virtually had no direct impact on the bitcoin price level.

I agree thanks for pointing out most of these bearish posters are just talkers and really don't analyze much and/or have proof it seems.

Oh you're new here ? Smiley
Kwukky is our resident troll/idiot/shill/baby-bear/BS-artist/Butthurt-Early-Sellout/Shorter/Contrary-Indicator.

Just think/do the opposite to everything he says, and you're golden.

Have a look over his post history - I dont think he has been right about *anything except by very occasional coincidence (you know the old stopped clock parable) in several years of his public mouth flushing.

If hes recently been proven badly wrong (as often happens), he usually goes quiet, and a bunch of new 0-post sock puppet accounts mysteriously appear posting his usual cracked-record claims, until a 5% dip happens, upon which he will quickly swap back to his default identity and start a new round of crying doom.

I dont know why he even bothers anymore, unless he is a *very bored troll.  As I said a while back, people couldn't take him any *less seriously if he wore a red rubber nose and a squirting flower.  If he *is being paid to spout BS, whoever it is should ask him for a refund..  Practically everybody either ignores him or laughs at him.

Time to abandon ship? Weekend always means a decrease. So nothing to stay around any longer i guess.
Wait for official news about ETF then you can abandon the ship. It is not just because weekend is approaching.

Traders are scared that ETF bad news will crash the price. I don't know why they think so, after all no one expected ETF to be accepted in the first place.

It still.does not feel like a bear market to me. It only dropped a 100$. It crashed worse before and yet we recover it quickly. I think it is just the etf speculators cashing out their profit that caused it to crash to the current price. But it is still not a bear market.

Does anyone know where this is going? Embarrassed
First someone says 92,7% not going thru tomorrow but wait another 72 hours for the verdict of etf approval.
Bear market? I just checked the price 4 hours ago and it was above $1202. It is almost where we were just 184 hours ago.
If bitcoin ETF get declined today than we may see some correction because there may be some newbie traders who are holding speculating ETF will get approved and price will double within next few months. Personally i am watching how market will react with SEC news and i am not expecting ETF to get approved by SEC.

yeah, such a hard crash. bitcoin is dead and all that. but i don't know why i am still seeing green and profit and lots of it despite your huge crash!

here is a picture Grin

Another attempt of these Huh

But tbh, I must say it feels bearish now, but it might just be a shakeout.

no another attempt of these
