However this all depends on each person's preference and that is normal,
investing in top coins is lower risk and it is proven,
even so, usually new altcoins can generate greater profits with greater risk as well.

its different with the coin that was mentioned above though, such coins are mostly fall under category of shitcoin, a good coin always almost immediately getting recognized by some big company and exchanges like binance almost instantly when they have presale because they already have partnership since day 1.
i'm gonna say it that fundamental is what determines which partnership a project gonna get and it's really essential in determining which coin are actually gonna be great.
so the fact that these altcoins that are already reaching high market capitalization might have lesser potential of reaching even massive value increase, sometimes investing in them keeps you from losing your money.

The ones you are talkin about related to smart contract are a kind of scam and it's worse than the manipulation because you can not recover your money anymore and maybe you won't earn something yet. Non-meme coins can sometimes experience a manipulation as well but maybe they are not that heavy and they still rely on other factors.

The two coins that you named there must be the answer that the OP is looking at. It's true that many meme coin investors are just pouring their money like nothing. It's because they know that meme coins are like a gamble so don't worry because the money that they used there are only small.

1000x times is a dream but do really it will make to that point of price surge? I don't think so. I know memetoken can have the potential like PEPE but it is very risky at all though it made lot of profits from people who believed in PEPE that much and they not regretting at all. Sometimes, you have to take risk because in crypto anything is possible that's why it's the best industry to have a good profit by far in my own experience. If you want quick profit choose memetokens but if you want slowly but surely projects that will take you from a long run pick blue chip projects on CMC.
