How is this exchange still alive it seems that there are still many Russian users trading there based on their chats?
Their Withdrawal fees are so high, just like HitBTC's as compared to the rest of the exchanges. So that's where they end up trapping people.

A trader reaches a point where they are either forced to leave the funds in the exchange because the withdrawal fees are higher that what they even want to withdraw especially for the tokens, or they only get to trade in Yobit because the withdrawal wallets are in a never ending maintenance state  Grin
Is this exchange still alive? Surprisingly they are really that long to live after all the years of existing and been frowned upon to be one of the most shadiest platforms that we've known in history.

No answer/response forever
Lots of shitty tokens
High withdrawal
Never ending wallet maintenance
High house edge gambling games(dont know if its still there)
Shady ICO's

and now we do have that new bitcoin fork? Wow.

Block halving is coming.
I have some old shitcoins and yobit and it seems I can only exchange them through FUSD coin it doesn't even have support on other exchange and what I notice is that I also have a bonus but all of them goes to investbox just like what happened before where they are giving away Yo or Yovi coins.

There is no reason to follow up on what they are doing, I am not even talking about participating or buying or hold, I mean not even being aware of them and what they are doing because that is how shitty they are.

I don't think that's a good idea... if no one follows up on them, no one would be able to inform the communities about the scam methods they're introducing. After all, not everyone knows how shady they are.

I agree that nobody should be considering even a small amount of respect towards that platform. I mean they have been ousted as a shit exchange that scams people and there were too many people that lost their money there and didn't get it back. When they had signature campaign here, they paid so much money and many people participated and that was a big discussion, heated arguments ensued and many people got neg trust because of it as well.

It's actually quite facinating to me how yobit has managed to keep on going with these scams all those years

Jurisdiction, the number of fcks authorities give and the fact that yobit's exact wherebouts is unknown could be one of the reasons why.

People were speculating that they would exit scam around 2017 (ICO time) but here we are today. Those shitcoins they keep adding to their platform must've been paying well.

They will exit at some point but who knows when. Most likely, being able to dodge authorities after all these years despite the blatant scams have given them an ego boost to stay longer.

Whether it is indeed a Bitcoin fork or not is not an issue. After all, Bitcoin forks and shitcoins are probably synonymous, although not all shitcoins are Bitcoin forks. But there's not even a very thin line which separates Bitcoin forks from shitcoins. So, who knows, this is indeed a Bitcoin fork.

But no big deal. We have already more than a hundred of them. Bitcoin is open source. People, especially YoBit, could easily clone it, and produce another shitcoin Bitcoin fork. And, no, we wouldn't be informed every time Bitcoin is forked.

Looks like they ran out of idea how to earn money scam people, so they decided to re-invent old wheel. AFAIK yobit frequently send email, so clearly they don't respect the fact you already unsubscribed if you haven't receive any email from them in long time. I would recommend you to find option "Report Spam".

Maybe we can say that they are run out of enough money to use to promote their scam site that's why they are just relying on email blasting and try to make their registered users believe that there are new coins or even tokens listen which have potential on their site and this they do this multiple times so to avoid getting those email better report or mute them to avoid any disturbance again on our personal mails.

Strange  Huh A BTC fork should be well recognised and known about around the crypto space just like BCH and other forks but with Yobit exchange they are just doing as they like, this isn't a genuine fork they are trying to deceive their customers once again, it's nothing new.

While it's not genuine fork, most BTC fork isn't recognized even by BTC holder. Website such as https://findmycoins.ninja lists some which have some value, but it's likely you only heard 2-5 of them.

People who know Yobit exchange very well will not try even to register on that platform.
It's commonly known as a house of shitcoins and other hype coins that going to exit scam.  There are a lot of coins there that have a shady behavior like pump and dump coins, so I think there's no point in trusting them.

Anyway, all Bitcoin fork has been proven they are all scam even though which exchange it is listed maybe it is good if we stay away on this.

This Yobit in-house shitcoins are even worse than regular scammers who create useless coins and tokens and promote them on social media and forums. Regular shitcoins at least have a blockchain, unlike this Yobit scam tokens. I saw recently that they were promoting the Luna fork, and now they have decided to try the same thing with Bitcoin. They employ the same strategy over and over again. Apparently they are running out of ways to lure new victims into their scam. They even offer a bonus for new registrations of 4700 FUSD (Fast Dollars), but they were actually supposed to say Fake Dollars because this is just another worthless in-hosue token!

Seeing this, I remembered that my yobit account was no longer accessible because I couldn't verify the google authenticator, when in fact I never used it and when I asked for support from them my account was suddenly suspended and could no longer be opened.

their model of fraud is constantly based on the same approach. when presenting every new garbage from their kitchen, they use the most popular phrases to attract naive people. Fork, swap, stake, dollar etc...
I remember their airdrop where they promised a free 700 dollars, it was actually some worthless garbage they called a dollar.
I'm still surprised how they still survive, who pays them money after all and why they are still not sanctioned by the authorities.

...gambling responsibly. Do not be addicted.
I think they probably make a new token every week at this point.

They were busy trying to jump on the ico hype before, I guess they're just trying to find newer ways to do what they normally do.
Very possible, though I do not get their mail until this fake bitcoin fork which is not any fork because bitcoin blockchain is not splitting.

Yobit is a scam and whoever advertises it is a douche.  Nothing can change my mind about this one.

They have been creating inexistent coins for years now.  I wonder why and how the hell are they even still in existence with such a well known history of scams and inexistent coins sold for expensive prices.
I can say that too, so many of their coin, especially their coins created like this that is only tradable on their exchange and no where else. Not listed on Coinmarketcap or any other related site like Coingecko. It is an exchange to avoid.

Good to stay away from this exchange which is very shady to avoid scam.

Those people who are in crypto industry from the last four or five years knows very well that what kind of shit attempts this exchange does from time to time to scam people and now this is another legerdemain of this exchange in the name of Bitcoin fork this is absolutely ridiculous I would strongly recommend to new people stay away from this crap.

This exchange site is a scam token generator. The bitcoin fork that announced by yobit was a token that issued by yobit itself. This exchange site is always issuing scam token anytime with different name and gave different label to the new token that will be issued as well. I remember when yobit was even issuing so many fake stable dollar that has no value right now. Any announcement that came from the yobit exchange site will always be related with the scam token. keep in your mind if yobit was a scam exchange site

Often at certain time interval new tokens roll out of the platform. One could've never heard of such tokens. Atleast with this people are familiar about the name. It also lists more number of tokens to the exchange, which is the reason why it has been getting used. The exchange is something different from the other exchanges, have everything in a single platform. Bitcoin fork is one more addition to the new tokens launched in recent days. In the past I used to use yobit to play Dice with available tokens.
