I'm pretty sure it's not DNS, ( at least not fr here ) as I can nslookup and resolv your IP ok.

It's as if I just don't get routed to your sites from here, and that's using two different providers.

I just noticed a brief outage as well. Sites came back up while I was filling out a ticket. Sent it in anyway.

For ByteHits specifically, the domain is less then 48 hours old so hard to say it cant just be the DNS. But Usually when I'm having DNS Issues a proxy and/or Tor helps resolve that.

The site is pointed correctly and is responding from most countries as near as I can tell. try flushing your dns or using a proxy.

I'm not in any blacklist that I'm aware of....

I can't see your bithits or bytehits sites either with my isp or my cell carrier, from Japan, if I try via a VPN server in Europe I can see them. I wonder if you are blacklisted somewhere somehow, ( not saying you should be, just saying you might be )

site still looks down for me:

Error 137 (net::ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED): Unknown error.

Try flushing your dns and/or using a proxy. It does seem to be up just about everywhere in the world. Domain is still less then 24hrs old i think.

fwiw, i'm just working on building bytecoin-qt for mac os, will post it if successful..

Getting a bit snagged up with a dependancy on "db48", which seems to not want to compile, currently disappearing down a rabbit hole, I may be sometime !  Roll Eyes

I'll be raising the payouts per hit on the site by end of day today more then likely. BTE are pretty plentiful right now Tongue Already I have over 100 times more then what I've ever had in BTC.

Or enough to pay about 14.5 Million 'ByteHitters' at current rates.

ok !  Grin

I was just trying to traceroute it from various places as per this site : http://www.magic-net.info/traceroute.dnslookup?

seems to hang from Europe for example...

The domain was only registered today Tongue Could take up to 24-48 hours to be available worldwide I suppose...

A Record returns as correct for everywhere except Thailand and India according to WhatsMyDNS

When all else fails... use Tor Smiley

Just confirmed, is working over Tor as well.

Until there is a stable exchange to pull BTE rates from. The rate is just OVER 9000 as its incredibly unrealistic Tongue Once I have a decent amount of BTC (Minng) The site will go 'live' and actually start paying people a nominal amount of BTE - Depending on how much BTC i have to start will depend on what the BTE per hit will be...

I also need to find some BTE related sites to link to. BTE is extremely new so not much..even exists Tongue Will probably throw a few BTE Mining Pools into the rotation that I can find.
Don't forget this one http://pool.bytecoin.in/ Smiley

fwiw, i'm just working on building bytecoin-qt for mac os, will post it if successful..
That will be great!

Speaking of that pool, Can you lower the minimum withdrawl! Smiley to like 0.05 or so, more then enough to be sent with little to no tx fee Smiley

UPDATE;
My Unconfirmed: 0.82169320 BTE  balance just shot up quite a bit. 1BTE withdraws might be more feasible then I originally thought Tongue

However CPU Miners could benefit from the lower withdraw rate.
Yes you are right, i'm lowering the min withdrawal to 0.01. Thanks.
