This is not bull run yet. Just slight, hardly visible price increase but nothing else. It's not even a sign of upward trend and the price stays more or less in the same range as the past few months.
I know that users actuallly can't wait for green market and rising price but to my opinion nothing significantly will change in the upcoming period. Once the price crosses 6000$ again we might say that we have new bull run.

I think the upward trend is not yet formed and the infect of the dump in December last year is still affecting the market.  Bitcoin needs to recover above $3700 resistance level in other to be able to come out out of the current channel.
A trend change may not happen over time. It will take lots of oscillations before making a strong run. I mean the recent run up to ~$3600 levels are just part of power gaining for bitcoin markets before making a reversal. I guess this time bitcoin may not break $3350 levels and will make another bull run but up to $3900 levels which may happen before end of this February.

I am happy that people see a small increase as a bull run.
Because, almost all crypto adopters are keenly looking for greens in markets. They were all must be frustrated on seeing more than a year of bear markets. I guess people may get relaxed now as markets started to show them some faith to stick within.

A short pump maybe but not a real bull run. There’s no significant volume in the market and its too early to say that this pump is going to become the new bull run. Hope it will continue to pump, until we break the $4k level again and continue way up to $7k.  Smiley

Yes i think so .Its a short bull run happen only for few hours .We can't recognize it for a well strength uptrend .We need to watch until reach into 4k$ as you said. However we all were waiting for a bull run and its gradually happening we need to be patient until having with good uptrend.

I am happy that people see a small increase as a bull run. It is definitely not a bull run length because normally when a bull run comes it does come with small increase like this but it also continues to go up, since the price moved up a bit but than stopped we can't really say that bitcoin is in a bull run. If it continued to go up like over $4k as well than we could have called it a bull run

And why are you so happy, I'm sorry?

That people are so frustrated with low prices that they see even the slightest change to the better as a market reversal? I guess what we saw these day should be called grinding as the price had risen some 200 dollars and now is fighting to stay there (but it seems to be losing anyway). Bullrun is intrepid growth with traders being overwhelmed by fear of missing out and losing an opportunity to buy low. If anything, it looks more like a bull trap
I think that people have already waited a lot. Experienced and mature investors know that a good have to come and they are sure that very soon they are going to see the bitcoin price again in a high level, therefore I think that there no need to become frustrated and should try to remain calm and wait for the good time to come.

Do not forget the fact that when bitcoin skyrocket to $20k levels it wasn't over night, the increase continued for like a whole month before it finally stopped at $20k. Hence, we may see some sudden increases in bitcoin price all the time but unless it continues to go up for over a week we can't really call it a bull run yet.

I think the new bull run is a sign of recovery faces in trading cycles.  We need to wait and see if this is genuine as the week we are entering will prove that to us.  We are also getting some good news this day and we are to see those news impacting the market.

This is a good news that we are seeing that price has surge by 200 - 300$ in a day and this will also boost to some extent among the users and the long term holders who are waiting from some stable rise to happen in coming time. This might just be the beginning of the new bull run.

It happens many times before also that bitcoin jumps 200$ but then in the next few days it is dumped back. The real benefit will only start when we see bitcoin pump few dollars and the pump more and do not fall back. We need to clear the resistance by good margin in order for bitcoin to be stable and make new higher lows.

I'm observing the price as well, we have some significant increase recently and I think there will be no weekend sale this week.

BTC is still at over $3,000 and there's only small increase but it's still good, what makes me happy if when there will be a next wave of increase
that will bring BTC back to $4,000, I like it to be slowly but constant as I'm tired of the pump and dump situation.

I know this moment, I see prices going up after news about ETF is in online media. I read it and it was good news and made the price go up right away. hopefully tomorrow's ETF results will be accepted and prices will rise again

I suggest don't put too much emphasize on ETFs though, it's been tiring waiting for the supposedly 'eventual' news. If it will come, then let it be. But I wouldn't wait for it, will continue to take advantage of every dip to buy and not wait till FOMO gets in.

However, I will echo most of the sentiments here, I will not say this is a bull run. It's just another FOMO that will slowly die down in the next couple of days, sorry to burst the bubble. I'm a perma bull, but I don't see this spike to be a bull run.

Agree with some of the views here, it is likely to be a bull trap. The spike is too big to be natural, the only way to explain it is price manipulation by someone preparing to dump the coins on Sunday or Monday

That is the right term. " bull trap". Don't be too excited. I've seen this trap before and then suddenly dump on a couple of hours. Lol. If you are new in cryptocurrency, then most likely you are smitten with this small run that happened.

Hope this market movement is not a bull trap and still continue. if good news come to market, bullish market will continue and perhaps market start to recover again. SEC already give a sign that ETF will approved and BAKKT will start soon is good news will come

What happen 3days ago maybe just a temporary rebound after crypto market suffer from a massive fall down a week ago. But with lot of positive news in the crypto market i hope this would be a start of a new bull run.

Don't get so hyped easily because btc also reached $4k a month ago and it did fell back below $3,5k again. Remember that we are from our major support of $6k back them so are technically still not making any good increases.

For this kind of rise in the Bitcoin crypto market, I can say this is no the right time to say it is the bull run of the Bitcoin but rather another smal improvement in the Bitcoin recovery. But I do hope that this will keep up and truly lead to its bullish run.

I wouldn't call it a bull run, not yet. The short burst of the price is probably for the words of SEC commissioner being spread that proposed bitcoin ETF will eventually get approved. The news might have sparked a new hype for which people are jumping in with the intention of making some quick profit. Remember, its just a leaked comment and he never mentioned that it will be accepted. Once the hype falls, we might see the price falling back again unless we get a strong support line.

Agreed. That seems to be the pattern that will follow along with any unexpected event that happens in the future.

Any scandal of scam in the cryptocurrency world is definitely not good for it also, which of course will continue to come - We only have to see at which rate in the future.

The thing about this world is that it's extremely hard to predict,  doesn't matter how much you know about economy or crypto itself. Let's see how much more time this really bad market will last and how long the hype will last as well.

It's too early to call this small price rise a bull run but to my opinion it isn't the bull trap either. I wouldn't give so much attention to this sudden price rise and I don't think that is something that is manipulated and that would cause further price dump or further price pump. No matter all charts and predictions it's too early to make any solid conclusion at all.

right now we are having a bull run in the crypto market. Let's hope it won't be of short duration.

P.S Buy at your own risk

It is always true that we should always buy at our own risk. We all know how bull run works properly in this business.
As I can see with your statement, its bounce was obviously pump which I think it will also dump quickly. Because we don't have accurate
reason to say it is stable and going to continue to increase.

It's so nice yesterday and this weekend that we're all happy for all of us. In order to be permanent for this upward movement, a general improvement is required in the general situation of the main factors that are effective in determining prices of crypto currencies. I would appreciate it if people who have knowledge and opinions on this matter would share these with us.
