Wow a lot of pissed of people here in Alt coin.

Imo Any new coins, can add value. Even the failed coins and the scam coins. We learn from our mistakes.

You can even experiment on Alt coins, to see what will happen, if certain scenarios occur. Which is in my opinion a good thing.

Have we seen enough of scam coins. Yes Yes Yes. Do we need another one, well No.  Roll Eyes

Nobody can tell before the coin are released, if it is a scam coin or junk or a gem.

And saying before the development, what the idea will be, will be crazy, because other people will just steal your idea, and do it themselves.

This is exactly the kinda idea I've been having ever since I got involved in crypto-trading.

I'm interested to know what is "exactly the kinda idea" you're talking about, since the OP said, literally, NOTHING specific about any idea he has.

He said "I'm tired of scams". That's all.

I'm sorry, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you're the OP's sock puppet. It's the only way to explain someone being so gung-ho about an "idea" that doesn't have any content.

ROFL.  Exactly.  I was wondering if this was going to be another thread where someone rallied up the cause against scam coins.  Then I see the poster wants to make just another coin with no new ideas because he is "tired" of how it is now. Give us a break.  This place becomes more and more transparent. There are dozens and dozens of non scam coins.  If OP was serious at least he'd say what it is new that he is bringing to the table.

Did OP share his qualifications and why he is suited to run this project where others will do all of the work?

I didn't see it.

What if the coins feature is that it was created for nothing?

This is purely in planning phase, I am mostly here to develop contacts.

You are right when you say I will need a slice of the pie, this will need to be determined by the community along with the coins algorithms.
I might look like someone who shouldn't be doing something that's not in my skill set, but what of these ass hats with the skills?

And the rest of us are saying piss off we don't need another out for the fiat, non programming developer to create yet another mindless shitcoin Smiley

Best call to arms; don't make shit coins and avoid mining or buying them  Wink

Haha you guys make me laugh. If we make it I'll see you on the exchange I guess.

I'm going to be frank here.

This bastard the other day released a coin called Honorcoin, Ill say that again. Honorcoin.

He had a decent coin name, placed effort in hosting a website, coded a coin and ran off two days later after dumping it on the market.

For a start, I actually believe in Honor - and no one in my books gets away with shit like that.

I may have enough to pay Capital gains, but I never said I would. This is a 'what if' scenario that I am simply prepared for. Remember Bitcoin isn't as anonymous as we think.

Many will say we don't need a new coin, but in my books we do. Something legitimate and trustworthy that will be accepted by the entire community. It is why the first step in the process was to post in this very thread.

Off the cuff there will be no IPO. That is definite. You are right when you say I will need a slice of the pie, this will need to be determined by the community along with the coins algorithms. Otherwise you are right, we are just like everyone else.

What I do have is an effective communications strategy which will be revealed once I finalise my team.

I might look like someone who shouldn't be doing something that's not in my skill set, but what of these ass hats with the skills?

Good morning gents,

My name is Richard, I live in Australia.

I am looking to call upon the community to assist in developing a coin.

At present this is just an idea with a solid development plan which will be revealed through a series of webisodes. I require expertise in wallet generation and coding as I am not overly familiar with this.

I am sick to death with scams, it's time we solved this once and for all.

Feel free to contact me, any time. I have a reliable marketing team who will be more than happy to assist in the future.

Thanks,

so how do u actualy plan to create something that isnt a scam or a needless, worthless coin?
sharing info is one thing but you dont strike me like someone who should be doing something that is clearly not in your set of skills.
if you have enough money to hire and pay coders and designers, that is something different , but then you need to also have profit from that coin, thus, you need a piece of the pie, and by doing that, you would be the same like everyone else

I feel its mostly the NAB who have shunned BTC.

Commbank and Westpac still seem to have no drama.

The real sting is this -

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-06-10/australian-tax-office-release-new-rules-on-bitcoin-transactions/5511624

Com and Westpac do it, they don't ann it, but they quietly close the bank accounts of anyone involved in btc, trust me on that, warned heaps they yell bs until their accounts are closed then they go on screaming they can't do that....well they can and do.

Havent had it happen to me yet? We have BTC ATMs on the streets of Melbourne and Sydney, Canberra and Brisbane now too. I have enough to pay capital gains in two weeks time? Whats the issue?

This did happen and it was based on a trust principle because people could not buy BTC on weekends as the banks are closed.

These were performed through contact over the phone at an agreed rate as it is both risky for buyer and seller.

Its been proposed in the past insta perma bans for anyone offering ton trade bitcoin via paypal.

and for good reason, people trading bitcoin via paypal usually fit into two categories; those extremely stupid and/or scammers.

The customers were satisfied. Ebay forces you to list a price however transactions were not performed at this rate. I sold to Australian residents only and have performed a total of one transaction. If it helps that I remove that advertisement I shall do so.

Sorry guys I have been at work.

I think you are missing the point of this exercise. I have not yet even explained the coin, we are far from that.

The purpose of this post was to gather sensible people who could assist in the development of a coin. I have been contacted by a coder, who is willing to help so this is a step in the right direction. But I require further expertise.

Nothing has yet has been formalised. You can trust that all necessary documentation and strategies will be outlined before I even dare make an announcement. I will not be creating a coin where things such as a single whitepaper has influence over the price. We all know marketing is easy.

If you are here with the perspective that all alt-coins are scams until proven otherwise, by the time you've finished your last sentence of your latest post - you have missed the point. We all know the alt-coin world is polluted to put it lightly. I am both frustrated and annoyed.

At present I am hesitant to give away the idea until I have a solid team as this wont be achieved alone. I am grateful to those who remain neutral in this endeavour.

At the end of the day, I have left my details here. Its okay to have your doubts but to claim I have my 'back up' when you are shooting down a call for help makes you just like the rest of the community out there.

If you are not willing to help you are not.

Strong words by someone selling btc on ebay via paypal for huge profits......trying every different angle to profit off cryptos it seems.

Mate I need clean hands on this project - There is some FUD about you on the other threads. I don't trust IconicExpert either.

And yes, I was conned by Honorcoin.
