Can you please name a few?

I only knew the top 20 of all coins and never went down that.
Before, yes I did but ever since I saw coins turn into dust, I never tried to look down there again. It just hurts my capital for a lot which  I did work for a long time to make that money.

But I am still looking, and that is why I am asking for some names and maybe I could do some reviews.

i think the answer to your question is very obvious if people have been around for at least 2 altcoin pumping seasons or if they bothered looking at the history of the altcoin market.

the answer unlike the majority's vote is "new coins".
historically the biggest pumps have always been for the newer coins because it is always easier to hype up something new that people still don't know the problems of compared to pumping a coin that has been around for a long time and people know the bugs and issues that it has.

not to mention that "supply" plays a very important role in this equation.
for old coins the supply is distributed among a ton of newbie bag holders who have bought that shitcoin in the previous pump and are currently in a loss that has lasted for more than a year and half. they will be dumping as soon as they reach their target which is mostly recovering a fraction of what they lost.
the sheer amount of sell pressure (that doesn't exist for new coins) prevents the pumps of old coins. not to mention that there is this thing called "over pumped" where the pumpers exhaust the pumpability of that coin by pumping it so much that they can no longer pump the coin in the future.

How come you will not included the top 15 Altcoins to your speculation to think that they are all belong in old coins? The top Altcoins commodities and platform are already trusted by all crypto users while the new Altcoins will still need more time to gain the trust of the investors so for me the Old Coins like Ethereum will still lead the bullish as they are already build  a foundation of trust among crypto users.

Agree with you, old coins are still worth buying and trading because we don't know of the many new coins where coins will increase. At least with old coins, you will get a few safer profits, although not like the new coins pumped.

The way i see it. old coins = small to good returns 3x-10x but are a safer 'bet' New coins more speculative but if you do your research the ones that make = good to excellent returns 10x-1000x

New coins cannot simply lead a bull season. Those altcoins that are already on the highest ranks will themselves lead the bull market of the alts. You cannot expect newcomer altcoins to lead the old-timers like ETH, LTC, XRP, and the rest. These coins are definitely the top choices when Bitcoin holders start accumulating altcoins.
But we cannot discredits the capacity of EOS and BNB since they are new but thy have proven something early.but I agree that older coins will still dominate the process second to Bitcoin maybe soon they will show some action against old coins

I think the new alts which offer a niche will perform the best but are less stable. If you do your research there as some real potentials. For instance Bomb has achieved 1200% in one month and holding stable. If you had 1000 invested you would now have a million. This is the reality of the market. Bomb is a hyper deflationary coin and this niche market may be like the DAG coins of 2017. The sleeping giant in this niche market is Optitoken imho It trades the market using the funds from the sale usining a trading bot specially designed. When it makes money approx 20% it buys back the coins and burns them creating scarcity. As we just entered the bull market and they are doing the burn sometime in the future since the bull market started, i'm assuming the price will jump enormously. Does anyone else know of any hyper deflationary coins?

I guess it is just a moment, remember pump and dump that often happened in altcoin price especially for the new altcoin. Bag holder will sell the coin when it is price has been pumped, that is the first point. And then if altcoin has been pumped and the coin will be dump quickly then I believe the coin will be hard to find another investor to invest more in the coin again. I often too see if the altcoin has pumped then its price will be difficult to up again. I saw it in IOST, an ATH this token is $0.13 (january 2018) but now its price just stable at $0.012 never touch an ATH again.

In my strong opinion older coins will gain a fraction of what the more new, more advanced, coins have to offer. Anything that came out during the bear market will do at least 10-30x when and IF Alt season comes while the older ones probably do half. Ps, top 15 coins are excluded since they will always be leading the market.

What do you think?

I believe you might have invested on many new alt coins in the marketplace but unfortunately your dream will be in your dream only. Actual growth of altcoins will be e starts from ethereum to monero.
Always be in a choice of oldest coins New coins will not be helpful.

Bitcoin is the leader. Bitcoin starts every bull market and Bitcoin´s dominance grows first. After some time, when Bitcoin´s price stabilizes, investors move into atcoins and Bitcoin´s dominance will go to 30% level.  Cool

Of course if there are opportunities for newcomer coins and have good potential in the market, many will certainly have low positions but maybe above the 70 mark, unlike the old coins that have been measured especially in the top 10, it will be difficult to shift them.

To establish them as the best in the market it takes time for the new coins. When it comes to the old altcoins those have already got the reputation and a wider market. These days very few altcoins get into existence on their own platform while majority get developed upon the old coins platform which makes the old altcoins get to be into bullish trend.

New or the existence of a coin does not determine the surge in price of coin because the concept, utility and community support level are worth determine the strength of coin in market either bullish or bearish season.
Have you guys notice that alot of new coins actually claimed the top 100 slot which belong to some long existing coin so don't underrate the new coin.
if I think about it, a good concept from the project attracts the community and makes coin development good for life's economic development or useful for life. It can make a good impact. And the coin development can also have a good ranking and development.  coin will continue to rise. so I think the new coin can be parallel with the old coin

Some new coins will increase by a greater percentage than any of the old established alts. Crucially this is only some of them.

On average I would still go with the old and established alts. If you pick a random established top alt and a random new coin, then I would say that the old coin would be much more likely to have a big price rise.

As for leading the market, no, new coins are much lower cap and don't have the trading strength to influence the whole market.

New coins are hard to have traction if most of the popular and top coins are always on the top. Investors mostly want to have secured profits through investing now with those type of coins after the bearish market that brought bad memories for them. It's either they've invested to a wrong coin that's full of hype before and now it has very low value. There will be few altcoins to have that kind of gain but to the extent and generalization that most of them will, I don't think they will.

Well, it is a bit of mix, old and new altcoins can lead the bull market. However, the main player is always bitcoin.

I don’t think that is debatable, new coins will surely gain more increase than the older ones, but that will be aside the top 50. Most coins in the top 50 are still gaining lots of relevance for investor to show interest in when the bull run starts. Recently, I have seen that most investor now prefer to invest in the newer coins, although the developers of these newer coins are the ones doing their possible best to ensure that such coin gain lots of attraction through their various methods of promoting the coins.

If we need to invest in any altcoins now, I think the best is just to mix both up, get some older coins to have in the portfolio, and some new coins, but we still have to research to ensure that the new coin is going to have a working Product and also have an active and reliable team members.

Older alts will lead I think as they are more established. Newer coins that are less established have more risk attached - some of these will probably rise a lot, but on avergae I think the older coins will have more of a rise, particularly as they have higher cap and so can exert more pull on the rest of the market.
