It's a good thing to see a documentary on bitcoin revolution in Africa. From what I have seen bitcoin will help Africa grow financially because so many people lost interest in Africa when the credit card scam was recorded to come a lot from African countries. Now bitcoin is here I think people will trust having deals with African's at least we can entrust everything on escrow.

Agree with @mk4. I have watched numerous bitcoin documentaries and most of them always cover the silk road and how the central banks failed our financial system.

But yeah! It is still quite interesting to watch since Africa is included in 3rd World countries who are lacking in financial services. Wink

Waiting for a person for a peer-to-peer transaction?
That's hilarious tho!

video: *shows the Silk Road in the first 3 seconds*

Welp, what's new lol.

Anyway, the trailer has some sick quotes. "it's not that central financial authorities were a bad idea, but where it has failed us is where human greed is able to manipulate the system." Pretty much sums up the government and central banks.

Quite a weird ending though, what was that dude in the end, outside at night with his laptop, supposedly doing? Waiting for a person for a peer-to-peer transaction?

There is a new documentary in Amazon prime showing how bitcoin is affecting and changing Africa.

It will be on Amazon Prime though, this is going to be interesting to watch. We all know that Africa is a prime example on how bitcoin can be adopted. And many services and platform are targeting this continent.

Below is the teaser. I'm not really sure though if it has been shown already by Amazon Prime.
