Ok, and whats the advantage of a 8gb one? I mean the price difference is around $50..
if mining on Ethash algorithm like ETH still has the status "POW" and have Dag Size more 4GB then you still can mine ETH but if your GPU has 4GB (VRAM of GPU) then you can not mine it.

Do you think this rig will last for a long time until it may get unprofitable?
no one knows except just a prediction.

Bitcoin is heavily dependent on this mining process. Due to the mining carried out by miners Bitcoin will validate every transaction, build and store the new block into blockchain. To save the new blocks into the Blockchain, miners must reach consensus.

Nice plan rig mining. I can suggest / prefer please to take RX570 8gb version, that's more suitable for next future mining. And for the other hardware, i think that's enough for mining rig. And please to use minimum 4gb ram and 132gb ssd, for more comfortable your rig. Happy mining Smiley

I bought last year 8GB RX470 and after few months I bought 4GB RX570 and I’ve got better numbers with 470 and its also better for future, RX470 run just smooth,, there are opinions that 4gb shouldnt be sufficient in future and also you will sell 8gb version for better money in future. But its only for your consideration, I have both and will definitely choose 8gb again if there is not too big price difference.

Alright, Im gonna go for the 8GB Sapphire Radeon RX 580 then..

BTW: when will they release new ones?

dude, right now ethereum is the most profitable coin and the cards need to load the whole DAG file into the ram of the gpu... every 30,000 blocks the DAG file grows by 8,5mb so one day the 4gb ram will be too low to mine ethereum and you will be forced to mine other coins... so if its only 50$ then spend it on the 8gb ram gpus...

Seems good to me, I have RX470 and RX570 and working great... But, if you have option I would definitely prefer 8GB version of GPU.

Thanks for the quick response!
