I agree with you that many of ICOs are dead and have already disappeared from the market, according to reports. But it does not mean that all ICOs are bad. There are still good projects hitting the market or on the waiting list. Even now ICOs are transformed into STOs and IEOs aimed to give customers more investment security. You can find good and promising STOs and IEOs by searching in the google.

Aside from that, almost the majority of the current ICO project is just a repetition of other's project. This copy cat projects looks like they were made just to earn money. I believe a good ICO or IEO must have an original and unique business model or project plan. This way they can cater interesting investors and audiences for their crowdfunding.

most of the new ico's right now are hot garbage, they barely update their own product, and maybe after the end of the funding they just disappear, it's better to invest on established coin right now instead of investing on ico's, if you like to take risk you should probably check IEO, remember invest what you can afford to lose.

I think that we should buy the traditional Altcoins on the coinmarketcap at this time which is more reasonable and safe. Because the tokens don't have much trust with investors when real and fake projects are mixed up. We should wait for the time when the crypto market becomes good and the opportunities will be more and more potential.

With that I still need for them to be listed in a good trading platform for it to be sold but it might take a year.
Better go to bounties of altcoin and pick there the best you can get.

Most of the people now are using the IEO (Initial Exchange Offering), where you can participate in the offering by the use of the exchange. Some of the exchanges are using their own token to buy some tokens. The old way is the ICO, which the company before conducting their own ICO on their website. Investing in IEO is much better since the exchange reviewed it before putting on their exchange for offering.

Many people now are choosing to invest to IEO compared to the ICO. They have trauma when they invested in 2018 when they experienced a lot of scam ICO during the dump of the market. But once the ICO turn have a lot and legit the investors will back again and they will choose maybe ICO again than IEO who are popular now to invest.

There are some very good projects which are live right now, but looking at the market conditions I would say that it will be better if you defer your plans for some more time. Imusify is one ongoing project that has caught my attention. It is based in Estonia. Another project that comes to my mind right now is TerraGreen. The project tokenizes renewable energy projects and the promoters are based in Malaysia.
