Can we stop quoting the original graph with yellow lines drawn "where the author wants bitcoin to go" on ..... its not science, its just fantasy art

No, its awesome. You also see the dinosaur pattern forming?
Dont really believe in this stuff, but i do think we will have another rally on our hands with the overstock stuff.

Oh snap you're right!!!

That's one strange dinosaur/turtle/something else

Honestly, I grow tired of these charts because like a previous poster said, it's more or less an individual's emotional interpretation on how the bitcoin price will turn out. I have come to think that most predictions found on here (and trollbox on btce) are somewhat similar to this thing I conjured up on photoshop:

Ps. I'm not endorsing Dogecoin (DGC) in any way. I just thought the meme was appropriate to express how I felt about predictions made here lately.

lol. That's more like it Smiley

Science is an illusion of control.  It works until it doesn't.

Just in case I got up and turned on the lightswitch - it worked.
Then turned on my TV - that worked too.
If I get sick I'll go see it a doctor, chances are the anti-bacterial medicine they give me is going to work too.

If we can't trust science, where should we put that trust instead that has a better record?

Since science is merely the observable reality then I guess... Superstition?

The thing that I really like about science is that you don't have to "believe in it" for it to work, it just does.

the trend of the graph seems to have made a case for another decent upswing

You can draw lines where you want on graphs - I could draw lines on the same graph showing the price will go down soon. There is no science here, just someone drawing yellow lines

Well, based on the method used on this thread I'd say around 7500 USD.. although 75 USD is just as probable (don't tell them that!)Tongue
