Thanks for the information, I'll read it. And what country are you in?  Huh

Does it really matter which country one comes from? All that should matter is the idea you get, whether it's educational to you or not. I am from Venus; it really got hotter, so I immigrated to Marsb Angry Wink.

One piece of advice for you, OP: if you are quoting a reply, it should not just be a reply where you are saying "thank you." It looks like spam to me. I don't know what others think, but I still remember what @lovesmayfamilis would say:

No need for me to add to what people already recommend but why not try something virtual first to get a real sense of what goes on, and whether these sessions are useful for you (or if you're even relevant to them?). Plenty of free conferences to attend, and if you sign up to CoinDesk or similar subscriptions, they like throwing around free tickets.

Personally, meetups and seminars are more targeted (if you don't want to wade through networking). Try this one for free in September, pretty "big": https://blockchain-expo.com/europe/
thanks for the cool advice! Wink

Hello everyone, I have a new question,
In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?
Simple answer is yes, if you have the means, maybe you live in an area where such events are being organized, or you are a Billionaire and can easily afford to travel out of your country for other countries where such an event are being held, it's worth it to be honest, as you not just get to meet new people of like minds, you learn new things, as well as make new connections as well, several blockchain projects became really successfully only after the founder made connections with industry experts and people of affluence through blockchain meetups and seminars and all.

So for me, it's worth if, like I said, you have the means to attend without financially straining yourself or business.

Hello everyone, I have a new question,

If it is really a seminar to exchange and discuss blockchain knowledge and you have a lot of time, it should not be missed. Knowledge is endless and having a lot of knowledge is never superfluous or useless. But if it's just an event in disguise, I mean, they use it to showcase shitcoin projects, then you shouldn't be wasting your time. You need to know the exact content of events before spending time on them.

As a scholar and a young vibrant youth you are encouraged to attend blockchain event to gain a vast knowledge concerning blockchain tech which I think is an added advantage to increase your knowledge and understanding, since I believe no knowledge is waste. We only live by gaining vast knowledge and anyone who has stopped leaning doesn't want to increase in their knowledge, so most times I do attend some invitation to just listing to what they would give out because I know I can't have all the knowledge it takes to know about cryptocurrency and blockchain at large.

Hello everyone, I have a new question,
In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?
No need to be an expert to answer this but if you're for gaining more knowledge and connections then it's a good option to join and participate blockchain events. You will meet new people and faces and even better people than you, we have to admit that even if we're the best that we think of then there will be people that will be better than us. Through these events, we'll get stronger connections and networking with people through it is a best way. But to mind you, not all of these events are for free. Some may require a fee so it's also up to you if you think if they're worth of your time and money.

Hello everyone, I have a new question,
In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?

Yes is my answer to you; you can read "My life as a Bitcoin believer." I got more exposed to Bitcoin and stomped into action after I attended the seminar in 2019, which I can say was an eye-opener for me. In my country, I don't miss any seminar or event that concerns investment, technology, cryptocurrency, or health. In such events, you could just grasp one new idea because they say that learning never ends. Even the first time I heard the name "Satoshi Nakamoto" was at an event at which a question was thrown to the audience. Someone answered the question, and that day was when I knew that there was someone with such a name, even though I had been hearing about Bitcoin before then.

Hello everyone, I have a new question,
In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?

In my opinion it is worthy to attend those blockchain events if you can reach to the destination where the event takes place without any travelling issues. I mean if an event is to be conducted in a place and the location of the place where the event is scheduled to take place isn't far away from your home town then attending that event best decision one could make to learn about blockchain in detail.

Those events are conducted to promote awareness about blockchain and its use cases. If you attend those events you will get inspiration from the ones who are conducting those events and at the same time you will learn a lot from them related to Bitcoin and blockchain. The ones who conduct those events are mainly specialists of the blockchain system and they have deep knowledge about blockchain and the technology behind it.

You'll learn a lot about blockchain by attending those events because we learn things far better when they are taught by the experts of the field. If the blockchain events are free then that's the best thing ever to attend but if it has little fee then still it's worthy to attend those events. I would most probably recommend you to avoid the events that has very fees because they are mainly conducted to loot the attendees and may not offer much valuable knowledgeable things because of greediness to create more such events in future to accumulate more money.
Regrettably, I beg to differ. Just because a blockchain event is in the neighborhood doesnt assure it will be an information powerhouse, right? Certainly, these symposiums foster blockchain cognizance, but some are just a façade, arent they? Reflect on it. Are these so-called gurus genuinely unfolding the complex details of blockchain and Bitcoin? Ive been to gatherings where "specialists" were just glorified pitchmen. Now, about gratis events. You laud them, but remember, if its free, you're the merchandise. Their end goal, though? And yet, you mistrust high-cost events as being predatory. Sounds paradoxical, doesnt it?

Hence, whats the ideal route? Should we filter blockchain events by vicinity and ticket price? I suggest we show more scrutiny

Hello everyone, I have a new question,
In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?
It depends on what your aim is. If you want to gain knowledge or learn more about blockchain or any projects being discussed in a certain event, you should obviously do it because such seminars and events can teach you a lot of things and you can learn a lot about blockchain technology, new projects, investment opportunities, you can also meet new people and share knowledge and might make some friends as well.

So I think there is nothing wrong with attending such events if you have got an invite or a pass to go and spend some time there. If I talk about myself, I would obviously never lose the chance of attending an event where blockchain and cryptocurrencies are going to be discussed, new projects might be announced, etc.

Hello everyone, I have a new question,

It’s your choice, no one will force you to attend events like that but if you think the event really worth going, then you can attend it. But to be honest with you It’s really good when you attend events like that, it gives room to learn new things, you can’t know everything on your own,  it’s better you go out and meet new people so that you can learn from them, you can even meet people and you guys will share ideas, you might be thinking you know almost everything but don’t be surprised when you attend events like this then you will know their are lots of things you still have to know about.

If this is your first time, go for it. You'll realize the significance of the event once you experience it firsthand.

Everyone will know whether what they're doing is important or not only after they've done it. Seeking advice on this forum can serve as a reference to validate your decision. However, bear in mind that each person has a unique perspective, which can further confuse you when making a decision.

Come for the first time, and you'll be able to judge for yourself. If attending the event in person isn't feasible, you can acquire tickets for the online session, usually conducted through Zoom meetings.

Hello everyone, I have a new question,
In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?
Definitely, especially if you are really interested in this technology. It is where you may found future projects, people with the same interest, opportunities and all which are about this industry. As to other people, indeed there are ways to learn such as browing the internet and seeking for reliable sites but seeing and encountering it in person would aleast give you ease from doing so. Also, projects in these events are still in progress which would give you insight and advantage obviously if you will find it a good project. Also with meeting people who are into this blockchain, you may learn from them especially those who have been in this industry for years.

Hello everyone, I have a new question,

I see this as a choice for you to decide whether you will like to attend Blockchain events.
There can be some knowledge you cmare going to gain from attending this event and it could be an eye opener for you to see beyond you  and get some certain understanding about Blockchain and how you can utilize it in you own way to improve and use the idea to make money for yourself. There is no knowledge that is a waste so we need to always take information serious especially those ones that could be use to us in the future. Go and learn and add more knowledge to what you have already gotten.

Blockchain events? Op please tell us more. But if you are talking about cryptocurrency seminars then I will yes. It is good to attend blockchain/cryptocurrency seminars because there will learn new things and add it to the ones you have known. And anything that confused. You in the seminar can be presented here for more elaboration. So even though your are a newbie but having the interest to attend then you are free. Blockchain knowledge is gotten from different places. And that is why there is formal and informal education to learn things from different people.

Hello everyone, I have a new question,
In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?

I have never been to any significant blockchain event but as I understand it, those kinds of events are mainly for networking between developers and project leaders. For the layman it might be a good opportunity to meet the right kind of people, who will teach you a deeper insight into current Blockchain developments and trends.

However it would be wise to first learn about the basics of Blockchain.

Otherwise there is not much point in a newcomer going to such an event.

But everyone is welcome to go.

I believe that education is the basis in every industry, and in such a difficult, new and fast-growing industry as the blockchain industry, such events can be a great place to both expand your knowledge. If someone seriously intends to tie their professional future with the world of blockchain or cryptocurrencies, such an event can be, above all, a great source to gain valuable contacts that will help in building a career. Of course, the quality of such an event depends on many factors - who is the organizer, people/companies taking part, speakers, etc., but we are able to gain new experiences from each event.

In your opinion, is it worth attending blockchain events?
I hope I don't sound as an AI, but: it depends.

- Are you looking to build a career around that, and try to get linked in? Then yes, it's worth it.
- Are you fine knowing that you'll attend in a place where the people become targets for $5 wrench attacks? Then go for it.
- Is there anything you believe you can't find out elsewhere, except in such events? Go.

But in my opinion, it isn't worth it. Let alone, most of these "blockchain events" are organized by people who want to promote their shitcoin agenda.

What do you mean by "where people become targets for attacks with a $5 wrench"?
