First, dont use Xapo. Download a secure wallet instead. If you still want a online wallet, then Blockchain is better.
Second, dont put too much time in faucets. Just use one or two faucet will do.
Third, the 'double Bitcoin in 100 hours' are ponzi scheme. Better or avoid it or regret. More information about ponzi can be found here, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme.

Public Service Announcement (For Anyone Here Who Is Actually New):

- (a bunch of unverified, or unverifiable, assumptions mixed with incorrect timelines and FUD all flavored with a significant amount of envy) -

Wow, I can't believe I wasted my time reading that wall of text.

TL;DR
You really should try to make your statements shorter so that people will actually read them, no offend.

make paragraphs, use subtitles, that could make some difference Smiley

The first comment was way too long so didn't read it

Provide shorter versions for TL;DR guys (like below) or people won't read it, probably.

Don't worry guys, you didn't miss much.

LOL! someone really read it!

Just read carefully about bitcoin here: bitcoin.org/en/faq

Too much scammer and troller here, don't believe ppl easily.

Coinlearn is the best faucet for newbie, you can learn + earn btc Smiley

Don't believe to investment which can double your money, that's just bull shit.

I prefer electrum or multibit for wallet Smiley

Welcome to bitcoin, a currency full of anonymous so don't trust people so easy

I'm never guarantee if mining will give you much profit because I saw many of them are scamming the investor

Beware of ponzi scheme, it says may duplicate your coin instead it tooks all you have

I still prefer blockchain rather than xapo

The first comment was way too long so didn't read it but should be sure some usefull info so read that but to give you the context ,
Pro : It is anonymous , decentralized
con : ammm I can't think of any good one

About mining , do not think of it , it is no longer usefull , drop that idea.
About faucets , they might seem good but in the end if you give 10 hours a day for a week , you would make 10$ hardly
Double your coins ---> another defination of SCAM
My recommendation to you is Hold on to your coins, search this forum and learn new things , join a sig campaign may be.
It's best you figure it out yourself what to do

Nigeria has such a bad reputation but they have so many innovative people and a huge remmitance market. {People who work in other countries, and needs to send money home}

Just remember one thing.... Bitcoin is a currency and not the magic ...get rich quick scheme, everyone wants to think it is.

The only benefits .... lower fees... and a degree of anonymity and no need for the banking / financial system as a 3rd party. It has a bad reputation for the wrong reasons too, but that is a topic on it's own.  Wink

Good luck... it's the money of the future and great for innovative people.  Grin

Becareful with service which can double your money(HYIP, ponzi scheme), most all in the end is scam Roll Eyes becareful too with cloud mining service most all ponzi scheme.
Better to build some faucet than earning from faucet Cheesy
I recommendation for you electrum or multibit wallet (desktop wallet) is more secure than online wallet if you want to store big amount use desktop wallet, paper wallet or hardware wallet(highest secure). You can see here: https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet

I advice you not to use wallets like xapo.
However you can use blockchain.info wallet. Please also do care to read all the stickies on this forum. They will help you.
Also this thread needs to be moved to beginners and help.

Hi guys , I am from Nigeria and am really new to bitcoin.
I will like  u to let the pro and con of it. How to invest in it , I heard of mining too,

Many cloud mining services are ponzis[1], be carefull.

faucet websites,

Faucets costs time, but they are good for testing.

i have heard of double your coin in certain hours say 100hours.

While we are using magic internet money here, the profits are not magical. Anyone that says  they can double your money in X hours/days is lying. Think about it. If I can double my money in 100 hours and have 0.01 BTC, after 100 hours I have 0.02, 100 hours later 0.04, 500 hours later 1.28 BTC and thats just the first month. 700 hours more and I have 163.84 BTC. Further 700 hours and its 20971.52 BTC in just 3 months. Why would I need your money? Because its fake.

What are your recommendation ? I have an online wallet with xapo. Just share me your knowledge .

Thank

Stay away from Ponzis and most importantly learn the difference between something real but risky and scams (ponzis).
