I have some tips for you:
1. Learn about trade before joining the trade
2. Find out the reasons for successful bitcoin
3. Do not trade bitcoin when the market fluctuates

Thanks, I plan to do that but firstly before any rises that come soon I'd like to get some money in to some strong coins, BTC, ETH, LTC etc.

Otherwise I could trade with Alt coins for a month or two, possibly not make money and all the big coins may be much more expensive.

Its hard for a beginner to know what to do. Lots of anxiety!

Hello lecomputer,

it is never too late to start trading with coins.
in my opinion you should use your invest for alt coins with the target to get back your invest and
trade with your earned money.
I needed 1 Month and 5k and invested it in different altcoins.
After my cash out it was easier to trade because there is no possibility too loose real money. Just the time you spend.

I also use the Ledger nano s. It is easy and secure instead of using several different wallets.

Cheers Axcel

Thanks. BTC was at 13800USD 3 days ago, now its at 15500USD. Is it likely to go lower than this, or more likely to rise from here?

Im so new that I cant really make accurate predictions, bu just want to get something invested and sit back and try and relax for a while!

Hi everyone

I have known about Bitcoin for many years, but did not have the money to invest until now. I know many think it is a bad time and the bubble will burst, and from what I know there is no way of telling what will happen next, so it is just a risk to be taken.

Now it is a bit late to start with bitcoin. I think altcoin gives us more chance to get freedom.
Eventhough it is late now, but it is better than not join. Risk need to be taken to get profit.
Its really not yet too late, there are still few people who are engage with it. We are still the early people who have found this Bitcoin. Surely once we nuy now, it will grow into grater value in a long time period. better to have one now than to not doit for you not to regret this kind of decision.

If you can take a higher risk, you can invest this 1000 in altcoin and maybe get a good surprise. If you want to keep growing, you can invest only in bitcoins and suggest that you buy it in batch, so you can avoid the risk of intense market volatility. If you have any extra money, you can increase some of the investment on the bitcoin.
First of all we welcome you here secondly before going to join bitcoin you must have to learn about bitcoin in detail because I know a lot of people who quit trade and the reason behind this is that they have no such a good knowledge about bitcoin when you study bitcoin in detail so you can earn from here easily because bitcoin is also very easy to lean and there are something which are very important to learn so my advice is to learn about bitcoin.
This is the best advice and you must take note of this. "Buy low, Sell high and buy nano ledger S and you are all good and kickin Cool (thank me later Grin jk) here is another tip "Invest at your own risk and invest only what you can afford to lose"  Cool Cool Cool

as long as you follow the way, you can make a big profit in the future and don't give up if you cannot make a profit. that is a good advice for new people which want to invest their money in bitcoin. only use money which you are ready to lose and don't get sad if somehow you do not yet make any profit because your time will come and it is better if you keep continuing to work so when the time comes, you can make a big profit too.

Do you consider Bitcoin low at the moment? Its still quite high overall, but lower than where it was a few weeks a go. Would you wait a few days, weeks to see if it drops more?

I advice that if you have money you can invest in bitcoin and learn some ways to earn via investment. If not, dont waste your time in faucet because the earning percentage was too low. You may join campaign in different sites and earn money without releasing any amount of money

Thanks

Well I own a house, so most of my money is in that. But I have about 15k outside of that. I don't know how much is a good amount to invest in bitcoin or other alt coins. I have had the money sitting in very low interest accounts for too long. If I had got into all this a year or two ago when I heard about it I would be doing very well now!

Its hard to know when to jump on board with bit coin as it went up so much recenty, and I dont know if I should wait longer for it to go lower?

Bitcoin is a long-term investment, so your mindset is 100% correct. ^smile^ If I was you, I would create a paper wallet and buy small quantities on Localbitcoin and then push it to the paper wallet.

Store the paper wallet with your Passport and a copy somewhere else. Alternatively, buy a hardware wallet, like the Ledger Nano S or Trezor.

Obviously if you would have invested that £1000 before a year, you would have now £15000 within this brief time. We couldn't say bitcoin is bubble for sure because it is support of people and this support will increase as more people are becoming aware of crypto market. Big investors say that a bitcoin can even surge to $50k in one or two years, so yout £1000 is enough to start

Thanks, yeah I plan to put even amounts into Bitcoin and ETH, and possibly a couple of other strong coins.

But everything is climbing and I'm still waiting for my bank to transfer the money. Could be a few more days, which is annoying. Im hoping Bitcoin will drop a bit still

Thanks for the info.

I've learned a lot in the last few days. I have ordered my Ledger Nano S and have a plan for getting into some longer term holding coins, some of the bigger ones. I will branch out into the other Alts if I feel inclined at a later date.

Its hard to know when to buy BTC as its climbing again, but looking at trend lines it seems it could drop much lower too, so just wondering when to buy in. Maybe I shoudl just dollar average over the next two weeks or so. Its changing so rapidly

You clearly answered to all your questions in there; You said that the "bubble" will burst.. So if you think that, then why the hell are you asking for help in here?
And let me tell you that if you are not going to invest $1000 - $5000 at least, you are not going to make a huge profit.
