Unfortunately Crypto has absorbed all kinds of the worst SCUM of the Earth and until there is more work done by the Community to stop these people, a lot of mainstream people will not even touch Crypto. The number of times I have been sha8fted by various nasty entities, many lurking even here on Bitcointalk forum, is a joke.

What you should do is use this thread to name and shame these nasty entities and their telegram ids so people can avoid them. My Husband started a thread for bounty cheaters as they keep trying to steal our content and pretend they are us. Yeap, these low lives will do anything in their power to steal from honest peeps in the Crypto Community. It's a real shame, but the only thing we can do is try to get together to catch these nasty elements so others can be warned at least.
I agree. There are a plethora of hackers and scammers in the cryptocurrency community these days and they will not disappear anytime soon. Instead, they continue to grow as time passes lurking here and there and waiting for a chance to steal from people.

Majority of the investors have already secured their funds in an effective manner, but there are some investors(Newbies primarily) who fail to use their brains and end up losing their valuable funds. Be careful people.

Be very careful of this new type of scammers in Telegram. They use the names and pictures of beautiful girls.
This is not a new modus of those thieves not only on telegram even on social media and others, they do this to caught your attention and message them then start to get your feelings and get all things they can get from you just like on facebook twitter or others.

Good articles, will be a concern for someone who is just joining the crypto currency and I guess bounty hunter is a very vulnerable person with this type of scam. Bounty hunters will be more often telegraphed because they need information about the development of an ICO project. However, I just think if someone who has experienced this type of scam is those who are hungry for women. Personally, I always think that crypto currency industry is anynomous so it is very rare for users to share their personal information in a forum and even show personal photos to people, so I just think that having a photo of a beautiful woman on their profile is not a real person.

I still don't understand how people fall victims to telegram scams, any person trying to offer you high yield investment ,using a model picture on dp or getting in touch with you for no reason sake is all scams ,I've seen a lot on telegram personally, there tricks is just too cheap for me ,stay away from money doublers too ,oh yes they exist on telegram ,telling you to deposit ETH in a contract address that you will receive double back ,its all lies and of course some stupid faucets ,Btc faucet ,ETH faucet? Stay away they are time wasting ,in the end you won't be able to withdraw any penny.

That's quite obvious isn't it ? People who ask for money upfront , it may be a loan without any collateral, a scheme that requires an investment, HYIP etc... are obviously trying to scam you. It's better to avoid such people. I do sometimes chat with them wantedly and have some fun Tongue to get an idea about what  techniques they use to scam people.

Be very careful of this new type of scammers in Telegram. They use the names and pictures of beautiful girls. The way they operate is that they show themselves in the telegram chat of whatever coin you are into. They don’t directly private message you, but they say something to call your attention or somebody else’s attention to start a conversation and eventually take the conversation private.

WATCH OUT FOR THIS TYPE OF SCAMMERS!

Spread the word, we need to protect ourselves from them!.

I've encountered people like this. Thet used other names from other project like they built a team but those people were not aware that they are on that team. Like they are an organization that scams people. At first they are so very active on campaigns and later on after token sale they just disappear. So be careful guys.

there are more to this happening on telegram mostly targeted at crypto investors. you may never how much scammers are on a page until you ask questions relating to buying an asset. you will see many of them sending you a pm and pretending to be Admin or one of the staff. if you fall them, regret will be the outcome. its very sad that telegram is only good in banning users for some informations that they do not properly investigate. more than 50% of users involve in crypto have one ban or the other.

if you are asked to send btc or any other coin, be very cautious already. SEX sells, we know it we guys always fall for sex, be it nude or not we always talk to girl but if they ask to send first then its going to be something of a scam. a lot of times girls talked to me in facebook with our local dialect asking me to send BTC, but i just told them they are not good at scamming and its not too late to change career.

"I invest and Doing Bounty Campaign"
This seems like a very elaborate way to not get much. I think most people should and would realise this was a scam in some way before they gave away their details. The saving grace even if they didn't is that most people usually have the smarts to use different usernames and passwords for different things. Even still, if you spare one person then that's your good dead for the day done.
Yeah there is no way that many people here in the forum could be outsmarted with low balls scam. This is really basic scamming activities and we can identify this one. Maybe the one who posted this thread was a victim of getting scam and after he was being scam he posted it here basing on his experience.
