I have found that the POW algo new altcoin is very popular on bitcointalk, so what's the reason?

The Wallet won't run on my PC for some reason 
and yes I am using the windows wallet

The linux version does not accept commands from the rpc. Source codes are needed.

Few questions tho.. Why there is so long blocktimes? Does it not increase the time to confirm the coin sending.
For example if you send coins to exchange and it reguires 6 confirmations, you have to wait at least 60 minutes or more to get acces to your coins.
What is the reason for this?
