I know everyone here is waiting for an update and I appreciate the patience you all have so far. Normally its not my role to directly communicate to the community but as I heared there where some uncertainties on what is going on behind the scenes i make an exception. Therefore I can briefly update you guys on whats going on in this informal way, we are preparing a more substancial annoucement for another time. I want to make clear this is an message by myself and not an offical company update.

After Dave passed away we needed to deal and are still dealing with a lot of things coming towards the team that Dave normally was dealing with directly, funding is an example of this but there are several other things in regards to paving the road for the team / project to being able to move forward such as the business / economics plan, dealing with the patents, etc. Although more people than Dave alone are involved in all of this it was a big loss losing the one that pulled all the strings in the end. We needed and are still dealing with a lot of things currently but I can inform you all that we are keep making progress. Even if its not as fast as some of you would like to see it going, we do what we can in the time everyone on the team is available.
In the period that Dave passed away we where actually finalizing a lot of things that normally could have delivered at the end of the year or somewhere in january. Unfortenately with Dave passing away some key elements changed, especially with the ownership of the company and the patents which we are still resolving as we speak.

To head forward into a new more succesfull direction which ensures a more stable base to continue from it is clear that things needed change, to get this in order we attracted financial help from expierenced people in the business which together with us created a plan to move forward, this plan indeed includes a potential coin merger to make room for sales rounds to obtain the much needed funding we are currently missing, it may be clear that with the current valuation of both tokens we cannot attract the much needed extra help we are after.

So this plan also includes setting up a foundation which ensures the interests of everyone involved, including company, employees, the community and the new to be found investors are being covered in an offical way. The patents will be covered under this foundation as wel. This plan also includes setting up a new economics plan which includes getting the funding in place to attract extra developers and pay them in a decent way for their work. With upscaling this we are able to deliver our planned network and blockchain.
As part of attracting new investors it was very clear for us that the actual tech itself needed to speak for itself and needed to be explained where needed, for that reason we shifted focus of the greater part of the employees towards creating extra documentation about the project itself and the technology we are / have created. The documentation itself it different from the patent documents as we in those we are describing more WHAT instead of HOW. Our goal is to have our technology fully reviewed by one or more well known / trusted third parties which then can do an official peer review. This way we can back the valuation of the tokens and make sure that we take all the doubts about the technology away for good. Contact with those parties is already established and meetings here are ongoing.

In addition to this goal we have put more employees under NDA and we started instructing them / teaching them about the core technology as wel, this is important as those employees will help getting the extended documentation in place.

This also means that part of the developers needed to shift there work from development into the documentation for these reviews, some of you might see this as a waste of time but let me make clear that even if it slows us down at this point that it will only help us once we get the funding in place. Most likely without getting proper funding in place the project will continue in its current pace which we are all trying to get out of.

For closure, ofcourse we all want things to go faster, but the team is working on availability around the clock, this means some days more progress is made then others, but nobody in the team gave up and we are still here to finish what we started.

tnx for the update.

To add to Donovan's post: We're in a difficult situation right now and we rely on funds to recruit new developers to complete the technology in a timely manner. The team is working on the technical documentation to present it to the investors. We have a long way to go and if you expect any big announcement coming soon, I suggest you to keep your expectations on a realistic level in light of the current circumstances."

They don't really bother to post here anymore I guess.
Why do they need developpers? I mean it's been 2 years with 9 developpers. How come they still need more before showing anything?
This is so sad. At least they stop hyping us with "announcement soon" , that's good. I'll wait and see.

yeah i also dont understand how things can take this long. first 3 years to get the patents and then they let them expire ..  its hard to keep smoking the hopium .. now its taking over 3 months to figure out how they want to move forward .. i just dont understand.

Without any news from the team this looks more like the exit scam everyone suspected over the years.
@team if you're not exit scamming, what are your +35 teammembers currently working on?

We all know what happens now. The team have their exit. They’re going to fade into further irrelevancy and hope everyone just forgets all about the huge amounts of fraud this team has engaged in.

Call me cynical, but I’ve called it for years— the team is going orchestrate an exit. They’re using Dave’s death to do so. Btw, go search Google. Try to find anything whatsoever about Dave’s death. There’s nothing whatsoever. Hate to be that asshole, but the team has a long history of lies. The whole project was a lie from its inception. They’ve given us plenty of good reason to be skeptical.

Again, I hate to be that way, and if Dave really passed away, everyone has my condolences. I would never wish death on anyone under any circumstances. But, this team has not earned any trust at all over the years from me.

At this point there's no more doubt about the fact that the project is a fraud. Talking about being N°1 crypto since 2 years, been talking about patents when they had nothing to show, and now they're saying that they are filling again for provisonnal patents like we're just waiting for nothing lmao.

And to be faire Cameron, I always thought this project would end with a post saying borzalom hadan accident and won't be able to continue to be a genius.
But what about him? He's like the genius behind XBY and we haven't heard from him for over a year if I'm not mistaken. Is he still on the project? What is he working on? Did he move to another scam?

Just a friendly reminder number three.   A message from Donovan.    Hi @everyone. Some time ago, Borzalom created a gateway that allowed investors to deposit and withdraw XBY and XFUEL onto the Waves platform. By using this system ((in combination with a patched client) we were able to exercise some control over the coins and thus guarantee their safety as well.  Indeed, we were able to restore coins that would have otherwise been lost on several occasions.
However, we’ve always viewed this gateway as a temporary solution (at least until we launch X-CHANGE). Currently, Borzalom maintains the gateway and client on our servers.
As the volume on Waves has been very low,  we’ve been reviewing the costs associated with this gateway on our servers. We’re also taking analyzing the time and effort needed to maintain it. For instance, every time  Waves makes a platform  adjustment, we must  rework and re-sync the gateway to make sure it’s fully compatible with our servers again. Since, Borzalom is the only person who can make these adjustments, he must necessarily pause his work on PoSign and the lite -network. And as you might guess, Waves is not a top priority for us at present.
Given the upcoming changes to our project,  we’ve decided to stop  maintenance on the Waves gateway. This change will help  reduce our monthly costs and optimize the time spent on development. Accordingly, we’ve set February 6th as the last day anyone can deposit or withdraw XBY or XFUEL on the Waves DEX.  Again, this is to free up server resources for development and lets Borzalom focus on his main work.

What this means for you: if you have XBY or XFUEL on Waves, please withdraw your coins before February 6th! After this date, you will no longer be able to withdraw any XBY or XFUEL coins that remain on Waves!
Please note that we will have guides and a technical support team in place in case you need help.

why is everything with XBY so  slow ..

Nothing's happening. Try asking how many people are still working for XBY and what they are doing concretely.
50$ volume today, says enough, even team doesn't want to buy anymore.

Hey Ganja you forgot about XFUEL Tongue people are buying https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xfuel/markets/

Guys the XBY technology is not a secret to all.

There are people I know that state they understood some of the details that are still kept secret by you and they say it's possible to implement it on other blockchains.

I'm think this is bullshit. Why don't you tell us all about it then.

ICAN tell you all about it  Wink

Hi @everyone. Before we turn the next page of our project, it's time to look back on what we've achieved this year. These are important days for our company and a lot of great things are ahead of us. We thank you for sticking with us, you won't regret it.

We know a lot of you are waiting to put those servers to work. This is a small update on the current development status of the Lite network and statics registration.

We have 2 major tasks ongoing, the first is our developers working on the backend of the network. They are setting up the communication between XCITE clients and the Lite network, the registration check or static control and certificate implementation.
Once ready, the first wave of node owners will receive instructions and the necessary software to register their node. As we’re still working on the automation of some of the setup, these first few will need to manually perform certain tasks and provide proof of ownership. We will of course have our tech team available to help everyone out if needed.

This brings us to our second major task, automation. We’re continuing our work on a user friendly interface and background automation to register your node. This will help people who don’t have experience working with Linux or simply don’t have the time to follow the manual process.

A couple of our team members have already registered their nodes into our test network, it’s exciting to see the network activity flow through your terminal.

As you know, we think it’s important to thoroughly test our tech and build on stable releases. As of now, we can’t put a date of project completion on the network as unforeseen issues can always pop up. Our dev team is positive and working hard to complete their tasks so we can launch our network and get this show on the road!

the registration of statics, blog posts, graphics and much much more, our Xtrabytes fairies
have been busy as well.

Read about the Xtrabytes Christmas Tree hunt in our blogpost and have a go at finding all of the trees!
There are prizes that you can win and love you can spread.

Thanks - not yet - Windows version is in Beta at the moment with the community testers - some excellent feedback so far.   We are just rectifying the bugs so we can retest.  We'll also be looking to move Mac and Linux into beta shortly.  As with mobile a user guide is being produced which is 90% complete and it will be issued with V1
