Hopefully we hope that 2022 will be more positive than 2021. When people's economic conditions return to normal, it will be easier to do activities in crypto even though investing in crypto, pandemic conditions for some investors have no effect.

The negative effects of the economic collapse in 2021 are also felt in cryptos. The fact that people do not take the risk of losing has also reduced their demands. I think it will be much better after the first quarter of 2022.

What Crypto has done this year has been beyond everyone's expectations, much better things have happened in the crypto market this year. Of course we want the next year to be spent this way for crypto, but the next move of the market will determine which direction the new trend will go. In the last days of the year, people will be busy celebrating the New Year, which may lead to a slowdown in the market for a short period of time.

But I'm ready to see how the new year begins.

NYE always feels like a special event. We're going to 2022, a year that might not be dominated by covid-19 anymore. I'm always expecting something big to happen to volatility, especially with crypto. Will it pump again? Will it dump? I don't have a clue, but I doubt it stays linear.

By the way is there some kind of VIX index for crypto?
I do not know if you actually follow the news regarding the pandemic but not long ago a new variant of the virus that is believed to be even more dangerous appeared, not only that it seems the current vaccines are not really adequate to fight this new variant, so if anything the year of 2022 seems that is going to be dominated once again by the pandemic, even then the world must keep going so I expect a lot of movement in the markets of altcoins during 2022 as I do not believe the current bull run is over yet.

Spreading faster? Sure, but more dangerous? Haven't heard that yet. People are expecting milder symptoms. And it's true that current vaccines aren't as good against it. But in theory, the mRNA of that variant can easily be turned into a vaccine.

Also heard the US army is creating a vaccine that should cover all variants in one.

So not too worried about the virus, more worried about repeating 2018, as that was a rough year for crypto.

The cryptocurrency market has collapsed due to Covid-19, Almost the whole world has been infected with the Covid-19 virus. As a result, the world economy is paralyzed, and event super power countries are feeling the effects of Covid. Market volatility is quite complicated, there is a lot of speculation about cryptocurrency after the covid is over. Throughout 2021 the cryptocurrency journey has been pretty good, although ahead of the turn of the year the crypto market is a bit sluggish. Although no one knows where the crypto market will go in the next year, the crypto community always hopes that 2022 will be a beautiful year for cryptocurrency.

This year was a blessing for crypto space since people awareness of cryptocurrency is highly increased with the help of NFT made people more curious more about crypto, and at the end of the year it started a new trends which is metaverse.
I'm sure next year crypto is gonna be more booming, not sure about the price will pump but at least we gather new people to invest and play around the cryptospace because that's the most important thing to happen and the price will be follow i'm sure.

There’s nothing especial in New years eve and usually people are still busy by that time celebrating the New year so I won’t expect any big changes on the first day of the year. 2022 are a year of hope as we still fighting the pandemic while dealing with many problems as well, I hope too that crypto will be good next year.

The expectations for next year is high and I'm also optimistic that it is going to bull. I believe that the bear expectation will soon fade off for more volatility. However it depends on the bitcoin price that will determine what happens to altcoins. Next year is going to have reduced cases of Covid-19 because of the vaccination and more investment will go into crypto and that can cause uncontrollable volatility.

none that i expect this new years evening but another bearish market , because  last year is a good one so expect opposite this year as there is no
constant increasing in record per new years eve,
but we can see a good sign today so maybe before NYE we will be having another Pump and will end before New year.

celebrating New year is already Special mate so yes there is something good in that event but we cannot find another Bull run if this
is what OP is pointing to happen.

The upcoming new year still looks sketchy and it doesn't look like there will be any significant changes as the current entry point looks unattractive as bitcoin investment seems to have returned to overbought territory for now.
I also believe that investors have started to withdraw a little from Bitcoin, but that does not mean they will not return to Bitcoin because Bitcoin already has a lot of trust among large investors and so its strength will still be maintained very well.

2022 new year there is still a new variant about covid 19! so maybe everyone will hide from the crowd for a while ,I don't know the price will be more dominant up or down but it looks like it will rise because the fireworks are off and everyone will buy crypto assets !hopefully
Did you mention a token called VIX? If yes, I do not know what will happen to that token Grin

I believe the pump will come again beside the dump but you need to be patient because there is nothing we can do to know when. You should prepare your coins because the pump will come back anytime so you will not miss the time to sell your coins.
I think not vix token  Cheesy you can learn about vix on https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/VIX
I do not know if that is a Vix token or not because I just checked on CMC and if I am not mistaken, I found three names of the tokens so I think he wants to say that token. Maybe I am wrong for this Grin

Hopefully, the new variant of Covid 19 does not impact us because we already knew how to prevent from what we learned before. I hope we can celebrate the new year in our own way but do not forget always to be careful, especially in the public area because we do not know if the situation will change.

Will it pump again? Will it dump? I don't have a clue, but I doubt it stays linear.
Everyone has no clue because both of them are likely to happen.

It can pump any time and could dump at any time too. But we're all hopeful that by 2022, things are going to be better but there's also the worry that 2018 could be the same as 2022.

Unfortunately, but when I look at the Bitcoin price chart, I am reminded of the situation from the beginning of 2018. The year 2022 will definitely be a year of hope, so I hope I'm wrong and after the New Year Eve we will see a repeat of 2021.

The current situation in the cryptocurrency market is quite difficult to predict. Looking at historical charts and long-term, everything indicates that we are still in an upward trend and 2022 should start with strong price increases. However, prices have been falling for a month and a half and it is not known how long this may last. Hopefully the positive scenario will come true.

NYE coin has been very active lately and not being on the stock market may mean that the risk level is high. The VIX Index shows the fear and risk environment caused by the volatility of the markets. It is also referred to as the fear index / risk index. That's what cryptocurrencies are all about, I think it's very difficult to have a VIX Index. Because the aggressive movements in cryptos are taken from this Fear index / risk index index.

Personally, I am more concerned with the number of enthusiasts and trust in cryptocurrencies which over time has begun to increase so that for next year there will also be a very good surprise although it cannot be predicted at this time.

In the beginning  of 2021 , Covid does not even exist in the crypto world so lets take this out about the reason of market movement .
and i believe that we are moving now according to what is the real score of crypto market nowadays.

But assuming than Covid19 makes it bad , what is the difference in 2022 when there  is new Variant that more epidemic than the other variants?

Anyway I don't know what tomorrow brings in crypto but the only thing that i Knew is I am willing to keep holding for another year.
