   As a important milestone, the newest Newbiecoin wallet(v2.3) released now!

Before you upgrade ,you must backup your wallet file. The wallet file (wallet.dat) can be found in the "resources/db" folder .
Then unzip the downloaded wallet zip file (Newbiecoin-2.x.zip) to override the older files.


There are two important features:
1.Newbiecoin Decentralized Crowdfunding Platform(NDCP)
Like other crowdfunding platforms such as  Kickstarter, NDCP will serve as a means for users to create projects and pledge funds to others. However, websites like Kickstarter can charge as much as 10% of a project’s total funds, making it harder for projects to successfully raise enough money. In NDCP , there is ZERO charge fee!

Please make sure the BTC balance should be greater than 0.005BTC for using NDCP.

2.Change the inner unit of Newbiecoin from 0.00000001 to 0.0001 , while the display decimal on pages is 0.01  and the 3rd&4th decimal would be hidden, which would be better for reading and making transactions.
The displayed total amount of Newbiecoin  would be changed from  6,582.30800000 NEWB to 65,823,080.00 NEWB  and the displayed balance number of each Newbiecoin wallet would  multiply 10,000 too.
Like the BTC unit changed from "BTC" to "mBTC", this change only affect the dispaly number, not the total value and the history transactions.
Please note this change for buying/selling newbiecoin in future .

The preview version had been released for days. We received some feedbacks that the NEWB number is a little big for reading because of the display unit is changed from 0.00000001 to 0.01.  So we released a new preview version wallet(beta2.303) that change the inner unit from 0.01 to 0.0001 , while the display decimal on pages still is 0.01  and the 3rd&4th decimal would be hidden, which would be better for reading and making transactions.

Here is a patch to the preview version.

then copy it to the folder of  the preview version and overwrite the same name file.

The patch includes:
1. Improved some codes and UI views .
