ok i geting individual pieces. wasn't planing to do wifi just came with kit. ws going to connect to a port on my tv for checking status. ant wire to the router. still need to ad a HDMI and Cat 5 cables. but do these parts look like a good set up to get started?

That Sabrent is only 12.5W and arctic will probably use 2W already. It is better to get higher powered hub. Yes, they are more expensive, but for a reason.
Check around the support thread. The consensus pretty much coalesced around either Superbpag (70W, 7 slots now called PAG-this one is USB 3.0, but multiple people find it working fine on pi) and Plugable (60W, 7 slots, see link in my prior post). Maybe someone else can chime in and gave you another option for the hub.
HDMI cable will go between pi and TV or monitor and ethernet cable between pi and router.
You also need keyboard and mouse, but you can reuse the computer ones. They will be connected to pi directly.
Other choices look solid. i used canakit powersupply-it works great.

One point: there is no way to know that everything will work as intended until you add the gekkoscience stick after properly building the cgminer-gekko software on the memory card.
The setup without stick is OK for web browsing or doing other pi projects.
