I don't know which others, when i come first I look at coinmarket cap and learning a detil the coin I want to buy.

My friend ask me, what coin he should buy , but I not really sure for now because I'm entering cryptocurrency 3 years ago. Too many coin right now that make me confusing
That will be a twist and I think you have to tell your friend to he needs more time to check the market and create analysis as investing never works if that he never knows. In general, he needs to understand the market so well and choose the coins that are profitable, not those projects that have no use-case. It really takes some time to understand but we should have to as this is the way we could save ourselves from scammers.

you don't need to be confused, if your friend really has strong intentions in the crypto world then he will definitely listen to your advice, but you must remember to always say to your friend 'don't sell in a bear market', this sentence I always say to my friends who want to dive into the world of crypto.

a little advice, you can recommend bitcoin, bnb, solana, polkadot or avax to your friends.

If we have a fairly good knowledge of the crypto world, there is no need to be confused by the large number of coins circulating today. Because with
the knowledge we have, we can choose coins that are worth buying and can generate profits in the future. That's why it's important for newbies
who are about to dive into crypto, it's best before deciding on an investment to learn everything about the crypto world. So being able to understand
how crypto works and have a basic knowledge of crypto will prevent making wrong decisions. If any of my friends are newbies and ask me which coins
to buy, which one is profitable, I will not mention the name of certain coins, but I will suggest my friends to learn about basic crypto knowledge first.
I will provide a reliable source of information so that my friends can correctly access information about crypto, so my friend will not depend on me
about the coins he will buy, because if he already has the knowledge, then he can determine for himself which coins are worth buying.

Nahhh don't see the number of coins in Coinmarketcap or Coingecko because that number will just continue to increase since new projects are being created daily.
If that huge number of coins keeps you confusing or you are getting overwhelmed, there is a solution for that and is to just focus on the top coins especially in Bitcoin.

Well, you consider yourself as a newbie and I don't recommend investing into a coin when you are starting but invest in knowledge like most of us are saying. Investing in knowledge really is the first step if you really want to invest especially in a very volatile market like crypto. After that, hmmmmm maybe invest in your emotions and I mean be emotionless when you are investing because being emotional when investing most of them times leads to huge losses. After doing and learning both of them then you're good to go because the rest will just be base on your experience and as time goes by, you will learn more and more.
Maybe there should be a delisting as well there? I mean exchanges do have it, but I am not sure if ranking places have that too? Maybe for some scam projects here and there but I really didn't notice any at all. There are coins with literally under 100 bucks volume per day, that's their volume, and they are listed, why? I was part of a project with around 25k+ dollars daily volume for a short period of time (around first week) and they got listed in 6 different exchanges and of course cmc and gecko both listed that project.

Nowadays it is near zero, there are days with zero volume, and there are days with a few hundred dollars, but that's about it. Why is that still listed? I mean it could totally get delisted from cmc and gecko and it should be reasonable to do so.

Before doing something without being based on knowledge of crypto, in my opinion, for beginners, it is better to first determine whether they want to join crypto, become a bounty hunter or want to become a great trader? if you want to be a bounty hunter you should look for a community that can help you, and if you want to become a trader then you should be able to learn about charts and candlesticks. I think this is what beginners need to do

What a Newbie should do first after entering crypto is to know how to protect his wallet from theft, know where the private key will be stored, gain information from experts on YouTube and blogs, and conduct sufficient research on the coins of projects and various use cases before investing or before He works in any bounty because there are a lot of scam projects, also any newbie should not invest large sums and determine the appropriate time for sell and buy.

I think it's given already, the first thing you should learn when you go crypto is know how to protect your assets.

For me, just educate yourself about it, really that simple, but it takes time to absorb all the information. When I was beginning my journey, I play around with wallets and really try to grasp everything like private keys and mnemonic phrase etc. Of course, money wise, do our own investigation and not just be carried by hype on a certain projects.

If you want to "invest" in a currency or token for the long term, it must have strong use cases (utility) and the project behind it must be profitable enough to keep it continuing. I would have included "the team" to the list, but as you know, it takes a strong team to create a product that is both helpful and profitable in the first place. As a result, it's a foregone conclusion. You can look up for some good Defi projects like SushiSwap, Lido or ReFi or maybe consider some project in gamefi industry Axie Infinity, ENGN, or BORA, which are comparable blockchain gaming initiatives. Especially now that large companies like EA and Ubisof have joined the fray. Of sure, it's a new project, but it's DYOR, and the btc was also a new project.
What matters the most is not about the use case or utility but rather the newbie's capability in managing his asset and emotion.
Cryptocurrency does not work like a stock market, it is more violent and unpredictable.
Even if you know how to do the research, it will be for naught if you can not handle the pressure and fear once the dump happens. As a newbie you really and should know your limit, that is what should they do first before doing anything in cryptocurrency to prevent something unnecessary to happen.

Suicide happened a lot due to this.

This is the first step that must be considered. But sometimes many beginners don't want to do that because they can do the lesson (seeking knowledge) while doing. Even though this is a mistake in my opinion because indeed this could be the first time they are exposed to something that they can't even imagine because here even though there are some people who think this is a profitable field, don't forget that there are also many wild pests here. scammers, Hackers, Fraudsters are everywhere nowadays and when they don't learn first actually they just give their money for free
indeed, They must to know the basics of crypto like how to create address and wallet. but somehow they just know all about crypto from Internet news and media where all information isn't have enough to learn. however, Media isn't know how is work too so he live of blind world.
In fact, I personally feel that it should be earlier than that so that they will not be misunderstood and naive later, such as knowing the meaning, purpose and risks in it first.
When indeed they can at least understand then indeed other things can only be studied further afterward.
Actually, the existence of media, be it articles or videos on several platforms, is not too problematic in my opinion, in fact it tends to be better. I think the information that uses the internet is complete, even we can be here, communicate and exchange opinions about crypto, isn't this a new lesson for those who don't know?

As new comer on cryptocurrency you need to know how potential risk by investing or trading on bitcoin or altcoin, not talking about how much profit can earn with cryptocurrency but you need to know and have already when getting risk or loss much money here. I think without have good mentality faced risk moment by investing with cryptocurrency looks not as long term keep stay on bitcoin or altcoin investment, many people just take care with profit only and forget how many time loss much money with trading in cryptocurrency, but you can less risk or loss money with crypto by improved you skill trading with research when try to buy new coin.

First ones you get your wallet and have properly secured your private keys the first coin to buy is Bitcoin and after studying the market for some time you can now dive into buying some other potential altcoin to add your portfolio. You should try to invest in NFT tokens as they are the trend of the moment but make sure you do your research before you invest in any of them.

Beginners who come to the crypto world of course still lack experience, so of course they still have a lot to learn to get to know cryptocurrencies. The first good thing to do if you want to invest immediately, is to invest in major coins like bitcoin, ethereun, binance. that way they will be safer to invest while learning
Simple but everyone forgets how convenient it is to buy the top coins, especially bitcoin.

They're looking for some cryptos that will multiply their money in the short term but it's riskier than what they're thinking of.

Newbies, not offending them but, they should be wise with their very first experience of investing in the market and bitcoin should be their top choice as what the majority are saying.
You know, another my friend was created about 5x profit when invest doge and uniswap, therefore he wants to invest like him. but his mistake, he asks to me where didn't know everything. The bigger risk is the bigger the profit.

a few years ago there were only a few crypto that existed and while now over time crypto is growing rapidly enough that it is difficult for us to determine which crypto is the right choice for us to invest in. About your friend, I think the first thing he should do is learn what crypto is and how it works, because after he understands about crypto, of course he will find it easier to choose the right crypto based on the benefits of the goals of the crypto developer, besides that he needs to learn how to do market analysis so that he can avoid the loss trap.

The first thing he should do is learn how cryptocurrency works. simply put, he should first invest in knowledge before investing in any coin, if not, he will run away when he encounters a challenge. Right now, even an OG is finding it difficult because of the numerous projects out there, let alone a newbie.

The cryptocurrency market is already very risky in general. Even more risky for inexperienced people. Therefore, novice investors entering the market have to be very careful. Novice traders can observe the market before investing. They can read Bitcointalk. They can keep a significant portion of their money in cash. After spending some time under these conditions, they can slowly start trading. They shouldn't be in a hurry. Nothing is running away. I wish you and your friend success.

I think 3 years is not a short time to learn about coins. should be able to know the details of the coins he will buy. and also have to understand the criteria and conditions of a coin.
Yeah right. There are lots of coins right now out there compare to what we had 3 years ago. Specially that DeFi sector and NFT projects are emerging. I think when you want to really know about what to buy, buy BTC first. The most safe investment which could give you great profit in the long run and after that you can diversify your portfolio to alts starting with Eth to Ada or ATOM.
