Investing in the things that you do not understand in a small amount and with time learn more (later check if it is better to continue investing) is the best, for example, investing $100 a few years ago may be worth $20,000 now.

The golden rule is to look for something unique, that solves a problem in a perfect way and that society needs, this will create a high demand for that project and the high demand will equal the money sooner or later (if the conditions are exploited perfectly)

And the opposite of this rule in the models that promise you a quick profit.

If your first learning us about investment maybe you need to go back to learning basics first. Investment is high risk and its not really advisable for first timers cause youll lose a lot of money without any knowledge on proper trading. I myself suffered a lot in the past and even sometime I didnt able to convert my losses into profits cause it was never easy. But somehow I am learning to the process slowly and dont rush it cause it will only resulted to worse,  always be patience.

Something is unclear in your post. When you say "start somewhere" what exactly does it mean? Are you talking about investing in cryptocurrencies and choosing something random and jumping in so that you have started somewhere or are you talking about the technology and starting to learn more about it?

I have a feeling that you are talking about the first one (investment) and I have to tell you that for years a lot people did that and lost a lot of money. They start reading stuff on the internet about altcoins and how to invest and make money and because 99% of them are garbage the newcomers become very confused and end up either giving up or deciding to jump in blindly so that they have "started somewhere". Obviously that leads to disaster.

Everyone starts from newbie until what you are now. Don't ever think that we didn't experience bad times before we achieve what we have right now. Of course, you have to work hard and be smart about it so that you'll be able to contribute in the forum by helping others through the threads you made and guiding someone else who doesn't know what he's into. Crypto is wide and it's not just about one token, coin or altcoin so you should be knowledge in field that you know best or interested.

I could remember few months back I was a newbie also, with with time I level up. In life you just have to start from somewhere, and stay determined in what you doing and also stay patient. You will always get there, so don’t give up and stay determined.

We can reach what we aim for in just a matter of time. Yet, we can't achieve that also if we don't work hard or we if we just feel it easy.
To keep thinking that crypto investment is risky, we dare not to rush as it only ends up in a disaster. We have to take it slowly and keep going despite the difficulties we face along the journey as this certainly be paid off someday. Success is not just instant, that was the sad reality, however, it will just come momentarily.

It is just like walking on the stairs, we should start at the 1st step before we reach the highest level and the last step.

We cannot deny the fact that crypto is a wide field, it is also technical. This applies to especially those who see crypto as more than buying low and selling high. But to buy, hodl and sell people, crypto is not a difficult thing.
Starting small is the answer. Starting is better than procrastinating, no matter how small you started. Crypto is not something you understand from the outside, you will need to join the bandwagon and then continue to grow in the system with practice and experience.
In anything you do, there is always a starting point.

Each one of us here was at one time a newbie. Nobody is born with knowledge. You learn it through reading or experience. What we have to always strive on is to make sure that we are better today than we were yesterday. It takes time but it's worth it

Sometime you will meet challenges in your crypto or trading journey, but don't give up. Keep pushing.

The  journey of a thousand miles they say, starts with a first step. Apart from cryptocurrency trading, the is applicable to other businesses in which certain persons fill they need to attain certain measures, capital, or higher knowlege before starting and before they know it time has overtaken them.

While others decided to start small even with little or no knowledge but out of determination and conviction towards such business and with time they became masterpiece in the line  while those waiting to achieve much before starting are still in the waiting line.

There's no right time specifically to start up a business, anytime is the right time, what's needed is the right mindset and so many fail to understand this. Cryptocurrency is not that rigid to understand and trade in, for as far as you have decided the road map for knowlege about it will definitely open for you through others experience and personal experiences along the way.

The popular concept of "think big, start small" is widely known to a whole lot of people but it is rarely applied to our daily activities and decisions. Sometimes we want to have it all, we want to gather all the details, informations, funds, energy and resources needed before we consider initiating an activity which sometimes does not work because we cannot have it all, and that right time we are waiting for might not come. I have always thought Cryptocurrency is a complex subject meant for a specialized set of people who are intellectual, smart, financially buoyant, very careful and so on. Considering it was a thought that flips through my mind but I end up discarding it almost all the time, I wanted to have all the needed information and knowledge before making an attempt, but then recently, i was enlightened that if I do not change my mentality about waiting for the right time by gathering all the information, which is called procrastination, I might end up not starting at all or getting anyway near achieving anything..

Since the passion to learn was there, the moment I started reading about Cryptocurrency, how it evolved and how it is been controlled and its trading system, my eyes got opened to the opportunities I had kept waiting for so long because of my preconceived notion about it. Start from somewhere, the journey of a thousand miles begin with just a step, before you know it, the chain of knowledge you gather becomes longer and stronger, it is not too late to begin.

This is the story of some of the present renowned Cryptocurrency experts, and it is same with me and many other beginners. I've realized that we cannot reach a higher standard than we set for ourselves, so let's set our mark high and step by step though it be by painful effort, sacrifice, denial, we will ascend the whole length of the ladder of progress, let nothing hinder us.
