I registered here only for this comment.

Yes, it's a scam. 100%
I was stupid and I lost around 500 usd.

At the first invest they let you withdraw more than your deposit but after a while suddenly a random amount of money show up at your balance called "system operation"
It was 1600 usd in my case. I've asked the support wtf is this. I saved the whole conversation it was funny and morbid.  Undecided

CGMDminer
Sorry, this is the funds entered by the system by mistake. The company does not have the right to deduct user funds. You need to replenish this fund and you can use it
The funds are not for our company, the funds themselves are already in your account! You only need to recharge to correct the abnormal deposit and that's it! After completion, you can withdraw cash or invest at any time.

Be smarter than me, avoid these scammers.

Cheers, Csabi

The user might have an alt account of the forum and s/he is aware of the forum as well as the Ponzi scam. That's why the user didn't try to promote the Ponzi schemes from his/her alt account. As s/he wants to promote the Ponzi scheme but does not want to take negative trust on his/her account.

They actually did mentioned an incorporation, on their about page, registered under #07568979, Crypto Mining Service, Ltd., registered on 17 March 2011. But I am somewhat sure that name and license was borrowed without the real company's knowledge, and that the company itself has never declared their official website, at least according to this database

It just goes to show how these scammers operate when they cannot remember to add a real/fake company name to their own ToS on their website. I think the name is being used by scammers without the consent of the actual real company. The website is showing 503 gateway error now therefore it seems the site has been removed but your archive links reveals the About Page shows them claiming to be "CRYPTO MINING SERVICES LIMITED" but the attached images are for "MINING COMPANY SERVICE LTD".

While these scammy websites think that Certificate of Incorporation will make them look more legit (and they actually do appear to a newbie that doesn't know how these things work), in reality they mean aboslutely nothing, as I explained few years ago.

Its astonishing how easy and cheap is to register your fake company there, and even more how many newbies think that its a sign of legitimacy.
I have seen something like that in the past when scammers an image of the Certificate of Incorporation but (as you stated) it means nothing. These can be gained by registration online in a matter of minutes but to gullible people and newbies they could easily fall for the scam.

There is something about ponzi scheme promoters and that is why I am not always in a haste to judge ponzi schemers. There are two categories of ponzi scheme promoters;
  • The ignorant promoters
  • The real ponzi schemers (maybe the founders or primary benefactors)
The people in the first category are the people whose money are already collected and/or scammed and they are encouraged to bring in more people so tha they can be paid. I do not blame people in this category because I was a victim in my early days. I had to use all my social media handles to ignorantly promote scam because of the pressure to cash out.
The second category are the real scammers who first occupied the oily spots and then send out the second category (victims) to spread the virus. These are the real criminals.

One hilarious thing that I found out upon digging further... well, "further" doesn't justify what I said because I looked at one image of their "customer" and the rest of it was spent laughing my ass off --I mean, that's Danny Ocean sitting next to another stolen image-- is that they fabricated their customer review with fake profile, so yes, definitely another red flag.
Well done, Holly, in addition to the fake customer reviews and images, the entire content of the cgmdminer[.]com site is plagiarized from fancycrypto[.]com, which is six years old, from miningstone[.]live, which is four months old, and from crrmining[.]com, which is three months old, and all of these scams ponzi domains have the same template, the same content, but they changed the name and logos for each domain, and also the same fake customers' reviews.

The Ponzi domain that the OP mentioned is the only one whose team has placed this stolen certificate in its template. I will support the flag created by Rikafip, and I hope you all will also report these domains to the registrar sites. Thanks

About the company, though, I agreed with what Gladiatorcomeback said. I think it's legit and real company that they borrowed without the company's consent. Crypto Mining Service, Ltd. is a real company, given they were striken off and threatened to be dissolved on 6th of June and fought the action to be discontinued by fulfilling the required document one month later.

Thanks for taking action against this scam attempt. post only moved and not deleted yet. flag supported.

They are showing a map on their contact page for a registered office address which can he rented but that name (CGMD Miner) is not registered at the company address.

I believe that they have no official office in UK and this is just to decieve investors. They generally target Asian users and no one from Asian countries will research to locate their office in UK. This is just a game to attract investors.

This has scam written all over it. If newbies and/or gullible people send money to the scammers, they will never see the money returned.

They do not mention any company LTD/LLC or anything else in their Terms and Conditions. Also, their website does not seem to have real social media links in their contact page either. They are showing a map on their contact page for a registered office address which can he rented but that name (CGMD Miner) is not registered at the company address.

There are far too many issues pointing to this being a scam therefore the flag is supported.

Looks like a typical cloud mining scam. the fact that they have "fixed income" is a red flag and should be immediately avoided. I've seen too many scams extremely similar to this on Facebook(usually being shared by other people in my country sometimes even by small influencers) sadly there are still people falling for this.

I have also supported the flag as it is obvious it is a scam.

cdmg posts has been reported and one post already deleted but he continuesly posting. If any DT member felt that it is Ponzi scheme then i will request to tag this spammer for stop promoting spam in this forum.

They must have deleted his other posts, then, because there is only one in his post history, which is the OP. That one I don't think they're going to delete.

At least in that thread we haven't had the show of other times where alts or related accounts start popping up, all newbie or brand new saying they have used the service and it has enriched them a lot.

Since he is obviously promoting pozni scheme, I tagged him and on top of that I created Type 1 flag to be more visible ot newbies and guests.

Type 1 flag https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3208

Perfect, this is bitcointalk and not like other unregulated social media platforms they think they can use anyhow and abuse for perpetrating their scam, the more they are coming the more they will be discovered and exposed, scam is not what we can condole with the use of this forum, we have one of the best standard of reputation globally and scammers can't keep coming to stay here, they are very lucky the forum does not moderate scam, if not they would have been given an instant ban each time found promoting any scam activities.

Reference:
official website
Code:
www.cgmdminer.com

What happened:
cdmg continuesly spamming in mining section about new ponzi project having no solid idea or trading system in the back. They offering high reward for investors and also for referels to attract investors. I found out some evidence which clearly indicate that this project is very risky to invest...

In their website they claiming that they have 385k users worldwide but if we check their social media twitter profile so they have only 272 followers (All followers 100% fake and bot followers). Domain is just registered 10 days old and registered for one years.
They claiming address in UK while domain is registered from US(maybe use VPN or any other trick).
