Molecular and I went through the biggest headache in dealing with one transaction. It was completely not his fault. The post lost the parcel (fortunately he was smart enough to insure it). Once it was pretty certain I wasn't getting the coins (about a month later), Molecular returned my money. Since they say lightning can't strike twice in the same place, I decided to try one more order w/Molecular. Well, I got it today! Molecular is a stand-up BTC citizen and I would do business with him again any day.
Were the coins already loaded?  Do we count that as BTC lost forever?

The mailman or homeland security has them.

I tried entering this fact (owner: postal service) at http://casascius.uberbills.com/ to make this public knowledge, but failed entering the correct captcha. I got told what to enter as exchange rate and will try again. Maybe someone will come accross one of the coins at one point.

just fyi: I sold 3 x 1 coins on eBay. That wasn't a good idea. I'm happy if I didn't run a loss.

EBay takes 9% and paypal about 3.2%. They ate all profits.

Mine were waiting for me this morning.  Smiley Thanks again, Molecular & Casascius, they look great. My only sadness is that I had ordered the wrong size round plastic coin holders because I'm an idiot.

The correct dimensions/weights are listed on Casascius.com.

My mother used to have stuff called "Brasso" for polishing brass. It was quite amazing how well it worked. But I wouldn't recommend it in this case because it could damage the sticker.

Thanks for the hint with the Brasso. Good to know the coins arrived. Pleasure doing business.

These are awesome; I love collecting euros from various countries (heh my favorite is a mint-in-case set of all coins issued during the first year the euro was introduced from Vatican City) but these are even more special in my eyes (I will defiantly buy a couple in a few days when I have a fuller wallet).  Are there any plans to "re-mint" the original design?  I think these look pretty sweet, don't get me wrong, I would just like to add both to my collection.

Received my coins today, great condition! Was a pleasure doing business!

dito.

Yes, I took good care handling the coins. I didn't even touch them when putting them into the zip-bags (used gloves), because looking at old series 1 coins made me realize that in fact the fat or acid or whatever from human fingers will darken the brass considerably over time. One of the coins even has a very clear fingerprint on it. Some might like that kind of "patina", but it's up to my customers to decide that for themselves Wink

The one on the lower right has been the coin I've been carrying around in my wallet for quite some time. I touched it a lot and gave it to people.
I can vouch for the excellent (looks to be untouched as molecular claims) condition of the series 1 coin he sent me.  Even 1.5 years old, it has zero tarnish on it.

Ditto.

Those look great! How heavy are they, and how do they feel compared to other coins? I might be interested in a couple...

If I remember correctly one weighs about 6.7 grams. They are slightly larger than a 2 EUR coin, but thinner.

They are small and light.  I think smaller than a quarter.  I don't have mine onhand at the moment to compare though.
