As a beginner there may be many thoughts that crypto is only limited to trading more money. I think that's what's motivating new people to get into the crypto world. This makes them unscientific and in the end they fall into the wrong hands, like scammers. Of course you have to be careful, you have to analyze a lot of course learn in people who are more expert and who you already know. At least it will make your funds a little safer. Of course you have joined this forum, try to come to your local forum here, I think they will help you a lot.

Complete newbie to cryptocurrency Teaching old dog new trick for sure  Huh
Do not want to use credit card but use as I do with my bank with debit card
and pay bills through bill pay Than pay check direct deposit ?

If you are new to crypto then keep in mind that its not the shortcut to becoming rich overnight. It requires skills and knowledge to earn profit. As a newbie never jump with huge capital in the market rather then start with as much as you can afford to lose. lastly, HODL is the key to success here not day trading.

As I am reading all posts by OP, it clearly indicates that a person is moving towards cryptocurrency just by fascination. But it doesn't matter anyone comes to this land by choice or by chance, matter is what they learn and what they understand.

At first sight, most users consider crypto as stock or commodity, but crypto is more than that. And it is completely virtual, and open source.

Spending more time on understanding what is cryptocurrency can help to get into the crypto world. also, it needs a more in-depth understanding to store and transact cryptocurrencies virtually within the network by paying network fees and keeping digital assets secure within the wallet with maximum security.

Many think that crypto is just a short cut to become rich in short duration of time. With that mind many jump into crypto and they bear heavy losses. Just like Forex and equity trading you need some technical knowledge. The primary reason for success in crypto trading is HODL, majority of traders are in loss. Trading gives just a short term success.

Just to be completely honest, I think most of the people also started joining cryptocurrencies due to its fascination and opportunity to earn high amounts of returns in a given amount of time. The problem lies when people do not follow such 'fascination' with research after their initial investment as they purely invested due to hype.

Personally, I also invested into cryptocurrencies (BTC to be specific) because of the news that it gave high returns compared to conventional investment methods available. The difference is, I researched and browsed through this forum to better understand the concept of cryptocurrencies.

Currently, there are so many tutorials for crypto deposits and withdrawals on YouTube. For the first time it's still confusing, but try to follow the tutorial by practicing directly with the method we want. For example, let's say we buy crypto through an exchange with the peer to peer method. buy with a small amount before trying a larger amount

1$ is very low to invest in cryptocurrency. I advise you to collect some free coin by doing airdrop or bounty.
You can do a safe trade in binance which provide you P2P tradung with zero fee. You Will get 1$ bitcoin just by paying with bank transfer.

I'm in USA America  Cheesy
If I purchase $100 in USA $1 currency
Would do be a bad or good investment to make ?
Best safe secure place to purchase ?

Thanks Be Blessed

First and foremost, it is good that you look at cryptocurrency as a form of investment because you must be looking for growth and some way to hedge yourself from inflation and possible problems of the global economy. Now, because we are talking here of investment there is that big possibility of it going up (you earn profits) or also going down (you earn losses). That is why you need to be careful of the cryptocurrency you are dealing with. Go with something that has more growth ahead. I am advising you to learn more and then pick your best choices.

On Coinbase you can buy as little as the equivalent of €1.99 but they charge a fee of €0.99
so it is pointless buying a very small amount as this.

Why does your transaction have to be $1?

Without using a bank you can spend Bitcoin by connecting a Coinbase account to a paypal account.
You could liquidate your Bitcoin to $ and send to a paypal account and then from there you could
spend those $'s with Google Pay connected to the paypal account.

I hope this helps?

How to purchase ? Exchange $1 currency to cryptocurrency ?  Huh
There wouldn't be any point exchanging only $1 for Bitcoin.  You won't be able to send it anywhere due to high transaction fees on the Bitcoin network right now, and most exchanges will not take a deposit that low.

Depending on your country, your best bet will either be to sign up for an exchange like Coinbase, for which you will need to spend a $25 minimum deposit, or with P2P trading like on LocalBitcoins, where you can trade with bank transfer or cash.

It is alright to avoid using a credit card but in particular you shouldn't use PayPal because transactions with Bitcoin are against their ToS and there will be very high fees dealing with PayPal because of the high risk of people reversing their transactions.

Welcome to bitcointalk OP. Your questions are very similar than the ones that we usually receive from newcomers in the whole "crypto world". Currently almost all well known centralized exchanges allow you to depois money trough a wire transfer (from your Bank account) and then you're ready to start buying whatever crypto you want. I'll leave you with a list of popular exchanges:

  • Binance - https://www.binance.com/en
  • Coinbase -https://www.coinbase.com/
  • Kraken - https://www.kraken.com/
  • Bitvavo - https://bitvavo.com/en - Personal Note: Even though this exchange isn't nearly as big as the previous mentioned, I've had success in invest in BTC when all the others were down. Since this is a albeit small but reliable exchange, it doesn't seem to go down nearly as much as the other ones.

As always, choose according to your needs and remember : No exchange will ask you for your seed words. If you end up in a page that asks you for it (either by stating problems in processing payments and such) run away from it.
