Good Day!
I think I need to share my learnings from the past years that I have been a member in our forum but first, I want to give thanks to every one that serves as my inspiration to post quality contents, and to provide the best of my knowledge to help other members here on our forum.
A little bit of a background of why I am here and how I started, I've registered way back 2 years ago already knowing that this forum is great for knowledge and for earning additional income. I am also one of those who took advantage of the ICO's and other platforms by spam bursting signature campaigns using multi accounts before, and putting allot of efforts for the sake of earning crypto. I've stopped for a year which is in 2019 and focus on studying upon realizing that I haven't really getting any thing from the tokens that I've collected from the bounties and airdrops where I've joined.
You probably noticed that all these are realtalks and here's more...Before 2019, I've accepted that my faith isn't with with forum or with cryptocurrency despite of all the hard works that I did, I end up with knowledge about ICO's where I didn't really achieved anything after all.
The comeback...in September 2019, I've decided to come back here with this account, change the way how I see this forum. I asked myself,
"why am I not getting any merits?" after this, I've decided to stick with one account and did my best to post quality contents starting from the time when bitcointalk is at its 10th year anniversary when I've received enormous amount of merits. I've posted this
topic, confirming my new beginnings with the forum, and at the same time, most of the DT and other members saw my alt accounts. Knowing that my intention is to start again, a member of the forum gave me negative trust for my alt accounts and let this account continue.
That is too hard for me to accept, but upon learning allot from my mistakes, I've realized that it is never good to cheat. I've formally started new life with our forum as I perceived that
our wrong doing, even if we are anonymous reflects our true identity.I want to share some highlights of my learning for newbies to learn as well:
- Let's start with using One account - Using only one account will enable you to post quality contents and to contribute more time to the forum. Spam bursting could be avoided if we know how to discipline ourselves especially by doing research first before posting as we aren't striving to reach quota in a particular campaign. In addition, campaign should not be the only reason why we post knowledgeable contents, but to consider helping others. others are doing their best to help us, thus, we should do our best to contribute as well.
- Use Grammarly - Most of us are striving to post in international boards, as part of our contribution, we should adhere to the international language standards for everyone to perceive the idea that we have. Using grammarly could help us lessen our errors and deliver our ideas more effective. I use plugins where grammarly automatically corrects my grammar, direct link here.
- Do not post oversize pictures or do not incorporate pictures at all - as part of my new beginning here, I've tried to post topics with pictures edited by me, knowing that it could contribute to the ideas that I have. I am not saying that it is improper, but most of the forum members want to read plain text and they do not want to see images. In addition, it looks like we're just advertising a site when we post with pictures.
- Always thank members who allow you to use their contents - Sometimes, there are contents made by other members that is in English that we want to translate, or some information that we want to post such as statistics etc, we should always express our gratitude and cite them properly, tag them to show appreciation. This is a basic manner we've developed personally and it should also be applied even in digital means.
I've learned allot from this forum, and I am thankful as well to all the members who helped me to continue and to post with quality.
