Not just influencers, it could be a reputable platform, ceo of big companies just like what happen recently the twitter hack which targets well-known individuals and platforms. It proves that there are some people that will not analyze it first if it comes from a well-known individual they jump right at it without thinking. Those influencers are just humans their predictions is not always correct so I am not really a fan of it I'll just ignore them.

There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain
One probably needs to suss out for themselves if a give profile one follows has got the background and required objectivity. Money bends people who are straight, and makes simple-minded buffoons jump into the ring. We need to distinguish between information and a commercial, and that is not that simple in a world where the influencers lean heavily more towards the latter than the former.

These are some (anonymized) samples of influencers and or agencies that announce their services on the internet:

Yeah influencer just want views, hits, upvotes...

A lot of YouTube videos on cryptocurrency are designed to be clickbait in nature. They can be good for perceiving someone's sentiment but I'd draw the line there...

That's true after McAfee's fiasco I dont think we should go all out or 100% on what they are saying, it's always been said that we should always do our own research because it's our money and we are the one that is going to lose if we keep following what they are all saying when the market is unpredictable.

Jokes aside, just ignore teen influencers who do TA since they should finish their school first. However, There are some fair channels like Ivan on tech and Chico Crypto, which mainly for entertainment/chilling purposes.
I also watch some of videos of these yotube channels, Ivan On Tech and Chico Crypto mostly. I love some of their videos, they are just being true and just telling their own opinion. Especially Chico Crypto, when he got some paid or advertisement videos, he told it before starting or description in the video.

But I am advising to everyone, even how good you think some of influencers, they may be still dangerous or might not be the same opinion/vision/perspective as ourselves. So, it will always be better, we should stil learn somethings by ourselves and ask a questions/do research.

Newbies, at any means, won't be able to avoid any advertisement brought by these so-called "influencers". Social media is so vast that even with lots of awareness about how to deal with these influencer's stuff, there are really times that newbies will try to test the waters there. Even others are aware of what will be the result, their curiosity is telling them to join the party.

It now depends on how their "common sense" will react to those ads they will saw. Fortunately, it's not the same as before wherein dragging people into something is easy. Today, I can say that some newbies aren't literal newbies anymore and they can now determined if what they encounter is sh*t or not.

Let's just hope for the best that someday, the number of people falls on this scheme will be decrease as time passes by.

Bitcoin = Financial freedom
Those influencers are making money from fame not by investing on the project they are predicting sometimes the project itself pay to the influences and ask to shill for them on social media. Its like how celebs advertising cosmetic products and the promise that you can be fairer if you use this for 30 days but after years of using you will be still the same. Cheesy

No one can predict, so just trust your predictions. Wink

Influencers are just online marketers getting paid to advertise services, items and whatnot. They are not experts in any way and shouldn't be viewed as such. One day they will advertise one thing, the other day something completely different. Whatever pays the bills, eh Mr Mcaffee! Until the SEC ordered him to stop.

This just reminded me of the era of shitcoins pumps as different coins (from no way) would start picking momentum due to it being the next picked by the so called influencers. Then pump and dump groups also leverage on that opportunity as they became famous too. Op, while you advice about them not paying attention to the so called influencers also remind them not to follow anybody advice found on the web too. Majority of the community members are only after the money and would do anything to get it even though it requires decieving the masses.

On YouTube, twitter etc ignore the hypes you see as none are genuine, they're are all pay advert or hypes coming from users that have already filled their bags, hyping to dump on gullible users seeking for quick money. Be cautious in this space, trust no one.

Don't trust, do your own research and verify info you have.

  • Influencers can be good guys or bad guys. Don't trust anything they tell you. Moreover, even good influencers can be wrong from their own research and analyses so be careful when putting your financial freedom to someone else.
  • The rule can be expanded to softwares (wallets, ie.), investment plans / recommendations, and so forth.
  • After verifying their words and check legitimacy of projects, you have to jump directly to ToS (Terms of conditions or Terms of Service) and FAQs to read most basic, and vital things on those platforms. See if their terms are fitted with your need, and you can satisfy their requirements (your nation is not in their list of restricted areas, ie.), let's go ahead. If not, stop at it and wait for other chances.

Listen/ Read > Research/ Investigate / Analysis > Read ToS/ FAQ > Make a decision *

*: Don't put all of your capital into anything because of influencers' recommendations.

They keep shilling and posting anything good about those new project or coin because they are paid. I saw a lot on Twitter influencer with dozen of followers and Youtube shillers, who keep posting specifically on different project. Good for them cause they are paid how about those who believe their shill and got rekt. Of course you cant blame them since you are just blindly following them.

Dont easily get attracted with these kind of hard shill cause your money is at stake while they are being paid to that so even the price go down they still gain profits.
They -the influencers in question- don't give half a shilling of care to what happens to those who believe what they shielded, should I say it's a paid partnership, more like what we see when a brand signs an ambassador even if they don't like or use the band, they have to show they world they do.
-newbies- has to know the ropes, with the Twitter hack, and lost bitcoins,

The influencer strategy is what scam new cryto related project and online theft use these days and this was also what the twitter hacker used to stole BTC from people and i hope the twitter hacker strategy is more than enough lesson for people to understand that strong self making research is very important before making any investment.

Note : It sad that despite all several alerts some people will still follow the intention of this liars.

The influencers can be a crypto-coin expert, crypto-coin creator, business Mogul, stock exchange/trading guru, analyst, politicians, celebrities and so much more these portfolio/credits doesn't make them super/perfect Human can get right their prediction/speculation/advice and they can also get it wrong.

No one can predict BTC, ETH, or whatever price mate. It would be best to ignore this kind of prediction, positive or negative, altogether. Subscribe to the news that has more focus on the fundamentals, not the one that was drawing lines and counting candles.
If you -newbies- are waiting on a spot on prediction from an influencer you might just be kicking against a mountain expecting it to give way to your riches, you have to climb over the mountain -doing your own work-.
Besides an influencer can
+Be hacked
+ Wrong
+ Bought over
+ Unforgiving/unrepentantly rigid and stubborn to their believes even with proven facts that they are wrong
+ Trolls
+ Black mailed
+ Under duress and so much more

Newbies you should not swallow -blindly- or take every hook line and sinker because it's an influencer stands
+Funds/money can be lost
+ Zeal/gusto crushed
+ Mentality smeared/blurred

Mind you fake influencers exist, influencers gunning at their progress personally -selfish- exists tool.

Newbies build/work towards your own prediction/speculation by using instruments -news/information/questions-
Beware Influencers can leave you blue/hurting.
