Why so much fuss about namecoins..?
Because it has unique features, like providing working decentralized domain names for the first time.
The second one is decentralized and free ssl certificates. No more Certificate Authority to trust & pay.

Just register at btc-e. They will give you a namecoin wallet address you can send your namecoins to. You can even convert them to btc there.

I've got my namecoin wallet set up. I guess there isn't a nice GUI interface for namecoins to be found anywhere?

Anyone have some tips for someone just starting to get into namecoins?  My mining pool is now issuing namecoins and I have no idea where to get started.  I  figure I need a wallet and an exchange, but a simple google search turned up way to much information.  Help please?
