still questionable if they sell the bitcoins right after they acquire them..

They use a money converter like Bitpay or Coinase to handle the transaction.  They are effectively stealing funds away the major credit cards.  The real benefit on their end will be realized when you can swap international currencies (currently they only allow BTC payment in the US it looks like).
