The new miner is an updated D3+ that can run multi algos
Bitmain is gonna support : X11, x13, X14, X15, Skein. after the x11 failure
Speed 30GHs
The classic noisy bitmain setup (twin fans)
It is not specified if the old D3 can be updated and to be like the D3+ .... probably they want.
Power consumption : 650 watts
Batch 1 target price : $2100
Baikal is gonna cry.......
Soon at bitmain's website....

I believe this is possible ... look at how answered me Yesterday Barbara:

The Antminer D3 has been designed and tested to mine DASH only. It can be used to mine other X11 coins as well but we cannot guarantee the performance or efficiency of the D3 miner when used to mine other X11 coins than DASH.

If that changes we will make an announcement.

Best regards,
Barbara
Bitmain

However, I had asked him to introduce other X algorithms if I could not use it on other X11 coins (my request: Please add firmware supporting the other X algos and I hope this can be achieved with the current hardware...my D3 order is very very expensive without any roi and I did not receive it yet)

If that changes we will make an announcement...Bitmain would never have written this if they were not working to make our D3 more performing...I think shortly (within a month max) there will be an official  ;)announcement

this notice just talk about X11 coin . LOL

I love this Game!
Dont invest their new products , their strategy has been changed so they will sell excessive number of units then you will get useless heater when you receive your miner.
BITMAIN = scammer

FUDDER! Go and cry at your mothers basement...annoying such ppl...

No more OP reaction..fake!

There was some weird speculation around D3, this one is the most hilarious  Cheesy

If the marketing @ Bitmain is not on crack, they will  not call anything with a D anytime soon if they also want to sell it.
What should the + stand for ? A faster loss than the original D3 ?

Did BitMain create any FPGA-miner, yet ? I think they were pretty much ASIC since day 1.

Really wondering where that info should be coming from

Hmmm a classic troll or a genius? Lol you can decide.
I have a order coming in and i go5 excited reading this, for a second..
Well done! You gave me some hope OP, for a second that is..
Still, i think we need to accept the facts now with these antminer d3. If anything extra comes out of them, its a bonus.
Well done OP. You've grabbed many folks attention.

Do or do not.
D3 is like the worst you can invest right now. Do your research friends.
