This initiative by Japan and Philippines could lead to a more stable and healthy update for cryptocurrency.


Naokazu Takemoto, Japanese Minister of State for Science and Technology Policy and Our own Secretary Raul Lambino, administrator and CEO of the Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA) met to discuss the development and future of fintech and blockchain industry in the Asian region.


Asserted by Japanese Minister:

"Cooperation between financial systems and technologies among Asian countries is essential and must be considered"




As you all know Japan is focus on improving their provision regarding blockchain especially in STO or Security token Offering. They encourage Philippines to explore and study the implementation of a Law that would inhibit and nurture the growth of blockchain. Since we dont have any Laws yet to secure a detailed approach on blockchain. The CEZA still pursuing and doing their best to convince and encourage the Congress to create a mandated Law that will improve the development of blockchain projects.

Kaya ayon kay Secretary Lambino:

"Congress needs to enact laws surrounding STOs and virtual currencies and appoint a particular government agency to have jurisdiction to supervise the implementation of this"




Maraming mga bansa ang gustong pumasok sa Philippines para sa kooperatiba ng mga security tokens pero dahil sa hindi pa naisasalin ang batas para dito ay hindi ito papayagan lalo na't alam naman natin kung gaano kahirap ipatindi sa mga politician natin ang halaga ng ganitong usapin.
