I think it makes more sense to just do a few special tourneys and some added prize money, but if people don't support a site how do you expect them to keep wanting to host tourneys? How do you expect other sites to be interested?

I guess this just make more sense. They were planning on throwing that huge grand opening tournament either way so this seems like a feasible idea. Well most folks around here totally have no clue with how poker actually works so the mass majority around here have little to zero interest on poker so yeah I bet even if the site decided to throw freerolls, most people will probably not come back to the site to play after that

Just for the record, I am not on board. I am not endorsing this site at this time. I have had a conversation but that's it. I have not made an account and I don't know anything about the team behind the site. I'm not against the site either, I just don't want people signing up thinking I'm endorsing them.

So I guess this means the discussion about sponsoring another bitcointalk poker tournament fall off or is it currently still in discussion? Dang totally would love them to make it happen. Well if an entire series of tournaments sounds abit hassle, probably 1-2 single tournaments with decent buy and 'huge' guaranteed prizepool could be an option as well  Roll Eyes

Been a while since some of us sit on the same table
I cannot say for sure, I know we had a discussion and they were going to discuss it amongst themselves as to whether its worth it for them to do so. I personally would pass on hosting a series due to the low turnout. People here are too cheap to play a 10-20$ buyin game weekly. No offense to anyone intended but it's factual info. We averaged 1 full table on average and it's not worth a big prize pool for that. Then did people actually play poker after the series? Not really. People were chasing the EV final toruney and once they didn't have a shot, they gave up.

I think it makes more sense to just do a few special tourneys and some added prize money, but if people don't support a site how do you expect them to keep wanting to host tourneys? How do you expect other sites to be interested?

New friend with new brand we welcome you to the forum. I checked you the website and it looks nice and simple to navigate but there some T/C you need to clarify. You said no KYC is needed to have fun (play) in the site, how true is that statement? Though you can say that in the public for to know but the gamblers will confirm it when we start the tournaments and the time of withdrawal will tell us if it KYC free or not. Many casinos would come to the forum and tell like that and later we discovered that KYC is needed when a gambler won big. Well most casinos do not need downloading app so that has no problem. Once again you are welcome with the new project.
We are creating T/C with the details and our KYC will not change over time and no matter how much you win in cash games or tournaments. If we get reports about player(s) for collusion, or multi accounts we will check hands, wallets and emails to keep it a fair play.

I believe the no KYC is just for a temporary basis as this has always been the gimmicks of casinos to luring members register on their website and after depositing and winning upon withdrawal, they start to request for KYC which from the very beginning, they objected to doing KYC. They start just that way of no KYC. I am saying this because it has been their nature and there have been several cases in the past of the same issue of no KYC and after a player wins big and want to withdraw, they start demanding for KYC. It is better you state it clear on your terms and conditions of service than to trick gamblers.
I said it several times in this post, I don't care about governmental regulations; this is DeFi, and we don't care about what CeFi requires. And honestly, those who change it and ask for KYC after someone wins a big amount are just trying to steal people's money. Many DeFi gaming and businesses don't ask for KYC, and you can move millions of dollars.

I pray you keep to your word of no KYC as you have promised as this have been the norm of both defi and cefi casino here. They come with sweet sugar-coated policy and begin to get traffic and deposit after which they secretly change their terms and conditions and make gamblers to do KYC. Please do not misunderstand me, I am saying this out of experience and also of reported cases here were members complain of casinos not requesting for KYC but after they had won big and want to withdraw, casino begin to ack funny by demanding for KYC and others. I do not mean to discredit you but I am only telling you my experience. I wish you and your the very best of luck.
Hey CryptSafe. We will not change our KYC policy, No matter how much you win/withdraw. Yeah you right many casinos change their T&C to steal their players money. But this not going to happens in Nexlub.

I am actually not against your casino terms and conditions of service. However it is nice as you have promised that your casino is not going to shift ground irrespective of whatever the case may be. I pray you keep to your words and do accordingly as stated.

If you can be able to stick to your words of no KYC, I believe you will stand tall in the gambling industry  and possibly be a known name as well and another thing is to be transparent and accountable of gamblers funds because this is another major areas were lost casinos are failing it but since you have given is your words, we have nothing to worry about. I wish you and your your casino good luck.
Hey, CryptSafe. Thank you. We are updating the website with new tournaments, formal Terms and Conditions (KYC policy included) and ranking system for players to get more rakeback when they reach new levels and 2 other privacy coins I'll post an update here when it's done.

Thanks for the feed back. We are open to suggestions and will make any changes or add features our players need. Also working on a new pointing system which increases users rakeback percentages base on their level
No problemo.

Good luck with all of the changes and possible upgrades that you have in plan. You're still starting out and good thing on you is that you're listening to the community here.

It's not for everyone's sake but for your sake so that you'd be able to stay longer just as what the pros here(not me) have suggested to you.

Somewhere between 10 and 20 players is usually the average per every series.

Yeah that would be the average number but you know as the series normally progress, most people ended up not playing anymore because they had no chance to get to the grand final so probably around 11-14 players on most of the series sounds abit reasonable but hey lets hope we get alot of new faces to join us this time if we ever runs it

It would be nice to get another 1 going, I miss getting mad at you guys lol.

Lol its usually the same case of your AK getting knocked out with someone randomly shove 33 or 55 lol  Tongue

your room uses Poker Mavens software... are you aware of this? https://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/showthread.php?20023-Poker-Mavens-software-hacked-to-allow-superusing-for-shady-operators

with no KYC, what measure are being taken to prevent multi-accounting and/or collusion?

This bug was in old versions and it's fixed after a few days. You can check the Briggsoft statement here https://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/showthread.php?20023-Poker-Mavens-software-hacked-to-allow-superusing-for-shady-operators&p=880636&viewfull=1#post880636
For multi-accounting and collusion, you can't login with same IP or device also we will check users behavior and you can report shady players in support

We are building this anonymously for anonymous players, and honestly, I don't care about regulations. AML is complete BS when you can move millions of dollars in blockchains without KYC or AML regulations. I know the downsides of what I'm doing. Many people won't trust it, and it's okay, but I'll always keep it the way it is right now.
If you are building this anonymously for anonymous users, maybe let us use your service without registering via email, yes, that's possible. Also, work on visual aspect of your website or otherwise it feels like it's just a random website done by someone who just finished his freecodecamp programming course.
Also, keep in mind that if you want to grow, you won't be able to operate without following regulations. It's illegal to run a poker website without a valid license, i.e. it's a crime. If you want to feel yourself safe, I think a license will be necessary but Costa Rica license is best for good AML policy, the one that rarely forces you to ask for KYC.

Seems like you have no idea how KYC and AML regulations work at all! You have to send reports of users IP, email, wallet (for crypto casinos), and amounts of deposits and withdrawals. What we are asking for is just an email, which you can create a new one, and a wallet, which you can also create a new one and use. And yes, it's illegal to provide anonymous financial services in many countries, but we don't care! Using Bitcoin, mining Bitcoin, or trading Bitcoin was illegal in some countries and still is!

Hey yahoo62278, Thanks. Yeah we can change it to minimum of 2 if it needed. We can use any help we get and we can sort any kind of tourneys you guys ok with. We can discuss it in DMs or any social media you are ok with. Also sorry that I didn't respond to your last post

It would be nice if you would sponsor the next Bitcointalk private poker games. It would certainly be a good advertisement for you, and it would certainly contribute to your forum rating, people would have more confidence in your site.

As Yahoo wrote, I doubt that we can reach 50 players... but depending on the buy-in and the prize pool (if you decide to sponsor the series) I think we can see 20 players or more per tournament. In any case, I will definitely play, I never missed Bitcointalk poker games.
