Everyone can say anything now because the bull run is yet to happen. But we've still not forgotten those who made predictions that didn't come to pass either. Bitcoin did almost 20x last year, so a 10x is very much possible if the things that will trigger it comes to play, chief of which is an ETF approval. However, I still think he used the opportunity to shill his company, especially as it's hugely vested in alts. Truth is, a lot of people don't believe these predictions any longer, as they've been once burned by them

The co-chief investment officer of one the cryptocurrency industry’s largest investment firms said that he expects the next bitcoin bull run to carry the cryptocurrency market cap 1,000 percent above its current valuation.
Pantera Capital’s Joey Krug made this prediction during an interview with Bloomberg, forecasting that the next upswing could propel the cryptocurrency market cap to more than $2 trillion.

This is a clear case of desperate measures as his company is invested in alts, and all of them have taken an beating and he's hoping his comments shall increase the demand for bitcoins, which in turn will fuel the prices of bitcoins. While I'm positive for a bull run it's an open secret there's not many factors that can trigger it, the only way it gets triggered is if the Sec approves bitcoins etf, but there's no certainty it'll be approved.

does anyone really believe those speculative price predicts?many people say its going to be under 5000k, many other say above 10k.they are all empty predicts.follow the TA, not speculators. we are very very close to big bang.we will see where bitcoin will go.

l read the article from the link you posted carefully . l observe that he is just speaking base on the accumulation of crypto asset so far is very big and time to sell off is coming in short moment from now . bitcoin and altcoin have hit the bottom on a several occasions and specifically most altcoin are already below their ICO price that have been listed on the coinmarketcap due to the bear market condition . ln my own opinion l totally agree with the article that the bull run might even hit more than 10x it current marketcap

Every one is waiting for the market to be bullish but it seems current situation doesn't permit that to happen by this month. We still have 2 months left for 2018 and hopefully there should be a huge reversal happen and make us all surprise.

Investors are waiting for a price increase for a long time. I don't know if it will be 10x of the current valuation or not. We would like to see another bull run before the new year.

For us to see what happened last year it will take time like 3years time, Im not expecting any double profit this year again as this year was so bad than last year and even if bitcoin does rise on price it won't be huge like last year
Holistically, Bitcoin price will soar very high by December in consolidation of 2018 and if this happen the price will be double. Saying that this will take 3years to happen is not feasible; as what happen last year is right at the corner about to happen. i havent read the article yet but i think we see higher price than what the price today on december but 10x is not that realistic, it takes 300 to 500 billion of volume in the market to reach that high considering the bears are very strong. I was lucky enough to be one of the people who made more than 800% profit on the coins I sold in the previous Bull run, so I can tell you that it is not impossible for this to happen. I am also one of the pessimists that would tell you that I do not believe that a market will recover/spike to these levels, in the same way it did when this happened in 2017.
I know there are a lot of people with big expectations, but I doubt that we will see a spike like that again in the near future.

A bull run is highly unlikely with Bitcoin as it had happened before but, by how much is still to be seen. These predictions or speculations about how much and when it'll happen is in the end is nothing concrete. The best idea right now is to keep an eye on the market and see the changes first hand than going on speculations and estimates.

In a market as volatile as the crypto-market, what someone thinks or predicts is nothing more than a astrological prediction regardless of the person who have said it. There is no way to say accurately that the next Bitcoin bull run will see the market to rise 10x. It may exceed it, ot it may never reach it.

You guys should actually stop posting such articles and giving the news site some traffic for it. Predictions don't mean crap. Everyone can make their own predictions, even my 8 year old niece.
I'm not saying a 10x rise is impossible, as it's definitely possible, but still. My point still stands.

sometimes people reposting these articles want the same thing as the author of the article itself. they all are desperate for a price rise because that is what they want cryptocurrencies for: profit and not much else. so when the bitcoin price rise is not happening they start trying (in their own weird way) to make it happen! it won't work though...

This is prediction and if bitcoin price pump 10x, there will be no surprise at all. If some good announcement comes from big companies, then the price will go higher. Other than this, I think bitcoin take more time to pump like last year.

I agree with the Joey Krug and believe that Bitcoin next bullrun can begin as early as November after the launch of the BAKKT platform. As soon as the legal formalities are settled, large investors will immediately push the crypto market upwards.

I'm not surprised on how they shill about bitcoin because obviously they have huge investments and its taking a beating because the market suddenly plummeted and there's no bull run in the horizon. So they started to influenced investors to put there cash by saying that bitcoin will go x10 and so on. But if you look closely, intelligent or even casual investors know that there's no bull run to happen at least not this year.
I completely agree with you. The number of people who fall for such stuff is laughable. I see so many people literally praying for Bitcoin to rally again like crazy, but the truth is that there will most likely be no bull run until next year most probably.
Some of my friends felt excited when Bitcoin rallied last year and began doing bounties for quick profits, but they left the market ever since the bear market got triggered this year which goes to show that you need balls of steel to survive in this market.
