Look at the total market cap in the last week... It does not look like it's going to crash soon

I think $10000 will set the spirits on fire. Too much growth in way too little time. But anyway, Bitcoin broke highs before, so expect the unexpectable.
Looks like a lot of people are waiting for that to happen.
I have talked to friends also and they want in but are still in doubt if ever it will crash or not.
I just said risk it if you really want it. Dont wait too much or you might regret it in the long run.
If ever there will really be a crash then brace for it, that is the time to hold and patiently see where it will go back.

We are going to hit 10k this year, probably within the next week. Before Christmas its going to crash hard, probably around 3-4000 a coin. We will continue to see this trend all year next year, going down to probably around 2200 a coin and then it will burst again up to probably around 15000 a coin....so buy when it gets that low!

Why you had sold all of your bitcoins, that's not a nice move for someone that waits for another increase.
I really hoped few days back that it will touch 10k at the year end. but seems it will tocuh 10k tomorrow or day after tomorrow and still some time left to finish the November. Yes I do believe after touching the 10K it will drop for a correction but it will rise again before the year end and solidly finishing the year end with over 10K price.
I'm not sure about a full crash, but I anticipate a bit of a correction when we hit 10k. To be honest though, it's impossible to predict. Anything can happen.

I got back in ar 7700 level and not even thinking of selling before it touched at least 9900$,
I agree with others in this thread who says that it will not crash @ 10k but there will be a 5-10% pullback, also i think that it is possible to fly right past it, if there is good news from wall street.
difficult to say, because there is not even in euphoria, the rise is rational thanks to the good news, but yes it will eventually correct but not before 2018 I think.

There won't be a crash, I think what you're refering to is when is going to be the next big dip. Honestly, i don't think we're going to see one for a while, normal fluctuation is going to happen next week but hardly a dip, not even a 5% dip since the current projection is 10k over the next couple of weeks. Perhaps, a big correction shows up around the $9500-$9800 window, but i''s very unlikely.If you want to buy, do it now before it's too late. Next time you check the price is going to be 10k, so hurry up.

BTC is impossible to predict anymore. It seems like no matter who makes a prediction, be it on this forum or any of the various websites offering technical analysis, everyone seems to be wrong.
I don't even know what constitutes a crash with BTC. It would have to go down by about 50% for me to consider it a crash. I'd also have every faith that it would recover at a pretty solid rate after a week or two of FUD and resume it's climb.

The question you should be asking is bitcoin going to be higher a year from now? if your question is yes start investing now and investing a set amount every 2 weeks or monthly etc and you will be happy for a year if it goes up or down as long as its higher a year from now you will be happy.

There will have to be a correction eventually, but for right now i don't know when there is going to be another. It definitely seems like we're entering a bubble state, and this is real bad news for the most part because there might be a lot of money lost and it could turn off a lot of users if they see some of their investment value evaporate in a short time. Not that it won't go up again, but there is a high chance that they will not think of that or the future and sell at a loss and then leave the marketplace forever. Jump to:
