Whoa. I just came home from work, open bittrex and check my wallets, rise or not. I can't figure it out what is the Niro, I never bought it. Maybe there is some minor bug or my account was hacked and someone bought some Niro, never even heard Niro. Check my Niro history and there is nothing. Then google Niro and wow it is old CSD, I'm saved. Things can happen in one day. Nice to hear some new movements.

Edit. "in one day" lol. That happen many days ago Cheesy Should the dev add infos about Nexus on OP, that would be nice.

You have access to these new RPC commands with 1.0.3 Beta [Also Fast Sync, I sync from block 0 in just about 6 hours]:

dumprichlist
getaddressbalance

getsupplyrates
getglobaltransaction

Let's start moving towards more selections here in the samples, quote your favorite image and type what sample in that image you like the most. That way we can start getting a tally on the direction to go here Wink

Thank You,
Viz.

Some drafts from the artist I'm working with, taking the vision and creating a symbol to represent it. Everyone let us know what you think so we can move forward into digital drafts.  Smiley Progress is progress, so be open and honest as to your opinion so we can create a logo that truly represents us as a community. This logo is more towards the "Niro" as the logo that would be "Niro Accepted Here" stickers, etc. We'll grow the Nexus logo from opinions that form here on this thread from the current samples:

Thank You,
Viz.

P.S. Name alternatives from "nexus" and "nexusniro" are welcome as well as critique Wink

Hello,

1.0.3 beta is ready !
(No POS yet !)

http://coinshield.io/binaries/nexus-1.0.3.zip

Code:
@Videlicet
:)
http://coinshield.io/binaries/nexus-1.0.3.zip
here are some bins
for windoze
with new rpc commands
bumbacoin
we gots de POS now yet ??
@Videlicet
dumprichlist
bumbacoin
hi btw :)
@Videlicet
getaddressbalance

getsupplyrates
etc.
POS coming with 1.0.3 release
but this will be just for everyone to have while I build the new nexus
with the block tree
LLL
so on
from the ground up
mergers and miners will build the trunk
transactions will build the branches
bumbacoin
lol. whats the diff between 1.0.3.zip and the 1.0.3 release ?
@Videlicet
it will grow according to the tx volume
1.0.3 release will have PoS activated
block version 4 time lock
stake minter thread activated, ect
this version is just for wealth distribution
I'll integrate that with the platform soon
bumbacoin
so why is the zip called 1.0.3 ?
@Videlicet
but for now you can run rpc in qt
because it is not 1.0.2 but not yet 1.0.3, you'll see the version information as "1.0.3 - Beta"
bumbacoin
lol
bumbacoin
if you did a : getaddressnonzerotransactions   or somesuch, it could be handy to run a lite wallet. where you could build tx data from it
the idea being being able to know where the coins can come from
@Videlicet
getaddressbalance

works globally
in that bin
can add transactions in vector, but for now is just account uint64
bumbacoin
i mean that what looks the hardest aspect of a truly lite wallet, is being able to know where to get coins from in order to send them. this sort of call would seem to make maintaining a the required netwrok to be easier
where a generic wallet can do the work of a specialised explorer
@Videlicet
relay network
relay nodes
part of the trust I'm building
nodes build trust as relay nodes
then lite wallets
confirm transactions from relay nodes
store only what is applicable to them
instead of whole chain
bumbacoin
:) i assumed you were already onto anything i thought of.
@Videlicet
great minds think alike bro
bumbacoin
lite wallets will save the world
lol
@Videlicet
exactly, and let them process with minimal computing cycles required of them
you allow wallets to be on anything
even start making hardware
more efficient code == less required hardware
most coders forget this now a days with such hardware availability
scale hardware > optimize code
but in reality optimized code > scaled hardware

Update you wallet is easy :
1. Run Nexus 1.0.3 beta
2. close Nexus 1.0.3 beta after first block sync
3. copy / paste all files from
C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Coinshield
To
C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Nexus
4. Nexus 1.0.3 beta is ready to use Smiley

to your stations, man the pineapples!!!
i think it good to represent connection between two distances, such as implied by ying/yang also by the circles around the globe.

this suggests a variation on the globe version by Vaxa with the use of the N vectors to delineate yin/yang similarish to some on number 1.

i also personally like the effort on top right number 5. (b. but upside down- like in the upside down version of #5)
also 1.f

Maybe something like this? Just a sketch.

yes this one with a bit more. it reminds me of telephone or $$ exchange graphics, showing the ease of movement across the entire sphere.

mayhaps the globe can become more earth like . at least representationally to signify the the whole.

the N maybe expanded up on by perhaps using the three vectors of N  to represent movement around the globe. with the N being the then nexus of those vectors.

otherwise, the N as is suggest a spiral to me, if you continued on from the ends of the N as is you'd end up spiralling around .. spirals are cool Smiley
it also suggests a spring. both are indicative of movement to me - which is good.

I argued with Viz

I didn't want Nexus I wanted this to be called Nebula

Much debate, such concepts, wow ideas
