It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.
@Videlicet
:)
http://coinshield.io/binaries/nexus-1.0.3.zip
here are some bins
for windoze
with new rpc commands
bumbacoin
we gots de POS now yet ??
@Videlicet
dumprichlist
bumbacoin
hi btw :)
@Videlicet
getaddressbalance
getsupplyrates
etc.
POS coming with 1.0.3 release
but this will be just for everyone to have while I build the new nexus
with the block tree
LLL
so on
from the ground up
mergers and miners will build the trunk
transactions will build the branches
bumbacoin
lol. whats the diff between 1.0.3.zip and the 1.0.3 release ?
@Videlicet
it will grow according to the tx volume
1.0.3 release will have PoS activated
block version 4 time lock
stake minter thread activated, ect
this version is just for wealth distribution
I'll integrate that with the platform soon
bumbacoin
so why is the zip called 1.0.3 ?
@Videlicet
but for now you can run rpc in qt
because it is not 1.0.2 but not yet 1.0.3, you'll see the version information as "1.0.3 - Beta"
bumbacoin
lol
bumbacoin
if you did a : getaddressnonzerotransactions or somesuch, it could be handy to run a lite wallet. where you could build tx data from it
the idea being being able to know where the coins can come from
@Videlicet
getaddressbalance
works globally
in that bin
can add transactions in vector, but for now is just account uint64
bumbacoin
i mean that what looks the hardest aspect of a truly lite wallet, is being able to know where to get coins from in order to send them. this sort of call would seem to make maintaining a the required netwrok to be easier
where a generic wallet can do the work of a specialised explorer
@Videlicet
relay network
relay nodes
part of the trust I'm building
nodes build trust as relay nodes
then lite wallets
confirm transactions from relay nodes
store only what is applicable to them
instead of whole chain
bumbacoin
:) i assumed you were already onto anything i thought of.
@Videlicet
great minds think alike bro
bumbacoin
lite wallets will save the world
lol
@Videlicet
exactly, and let them process with minimal computing cycles required of them
you allow wallets to be on anything
even start making hardware
more efficient code == less required hardware
most coders forget this now a days with such hardware availability
scale hardware > optimize code
but in reality optimized code > scaled hardware
