I find this topic a very interesting one because I'm doing something similar. There are a lot of ways one can earn in dollars here in Nigeria, Examples
Virtual assistant skill: this skill, you will offer administrative support to clients and these offers are data entry, Email management, Online research, Social media maintenance, Expense reports, travel booking, online purchases, and a lot more. As a virtual assistant, you can do simple work like submitting client resumes to different job sites like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, etc and you get paid in dollars.

Airbnb job roles: Help client market their properties on the Airbnb site, here you can help the client create a listing using their Airbnb account and you get paid for it.
There is a lot of freelancing skill one can learn.
Note: Before going into freelancing skills or any other skill set that requires you to work for a client and earn in dollars, make sure you are a sincere and detail-oriented person. Don't be only interested in the money rather make sure you deliver a good job to this client and at the agreed time. Don't be a dubious person, always be sincere or truthful in your doings and you will have the best clients who will always call you back to do jobs for them when necessary .

Earning in dollars isn't the problem but what if you are earning in dollars then you want to purchase things in Nigeria and we know how costly things are now, so the higher you earn in dollars, the higher you also spend it in Naira.

Inasmuch as i encourage people to earn in dollars I also wish for measures that can help our currency gain value as the incessant devaluation of our currency are making it look as if we ain't earning enough because no matter how much you earn, the prices of goods and services are still very very high so it just look as if we ain't earning at all.
What I think the OP is trying to say is not that we should earn in dollar directly, but to earn abroad from Nigeria because the money those developed countries see as peanut money is high for us here to live a confirmable life, and I think the OP is not wrong at all but not put it exactly in the way people will understand better.

It isn't easy to get jobs that pays in dollars from Nigeria and considering that most of these foreigners sees Nigerians as fraudsters, sometimes it is difficult for them to trust us on online jobs that we can do in other to earn in dollars it is just very unfortunate that some internet scammers and fraudsters have succeeded in painting our name black to the international community thereby making it difficult for foreigners to earn our trust. Just wish we can rewrite that narrative of foreigners seeing Nigerians as fraudsters.
I think online business that pays in dollars have been in existence for so long. Only that most people just started to make inquiry about it lately due to economic inflation. Be thou as it may, it's only those that can develop there time to it can only benefits from it. Nigerians online frudsters might have got away with there dubious and atrocious deeds but that doesn't mean people are not benefiting from it here are some online business:

Nothing dey wrong in working for dollar because na the sure bet base on how things don take dey for our country. As a matter of fact, Naija boys are trying because we no dey carry eye take see anything wey go give us bread without giving our best to it. Ever since Elon Musk bring the revenue sharing matter, plenty Naija boys don dey build their account for that direction and some don dey already cashout so I trust Naija guys.

As Nigerians earning in dollars right now will be the messiah for us to surpass this untold sufferings we face precently in this our beloved country, but you see it is not easy for us Nigerians to earn in dollars  legitimately we have a whole lot of writers, graphic designers, editors and a lots of other people out there who has the skill to work for abroad based companies and earn in dollar but its very difficult to access the legitimate sites sometimes the well established Amazon and the rest makes it very difficult for third world countries like ours unlike our counterparts from the western and more civilized world, a friend of mine was also complaining that Upwork which pays him $15 to $30 dollars pay day no longer pays him because of some few scammers from Nigeria that has spammed the site with there fraudulent activity.

In recent time, there is rapid increase in price of dollar to naira everyday. This is a very great opportunity for anyone earning in dollar as the rate of dollar to naira keep increasing. Imagine someone earning just #30,000 as salary in a month in Nigeria naira. This recently isn't up to $30 when converted and it's something one could make within one or two weeks if you earn in dollar. It's high time we should work for dollars rather than naira. Working for dollars can be done through the following:

It is a very good way to earn in dollars in Nigeria since most of our goods we use here are imported from outside countries which they use dollar as a means of exchange. Even the so called market women who plant and grow their products here are also increasing the price of their goods because they had dollar has risen, so such will the money for their goods also rise which is now a normal here in Nigeria. When people complaint they immediately bring the rise in dollar into conversation.

Even the layman that knows nothing about naira to dollar rating and conversion rate have also been using the depreciation of naira to dollar to sell goods in higher prices. Sometimes I don’t want to blame them because they must have bought other things they might have used in growing their plants for an increased price that was already affected by the dollar rise. Even that being said, most of the prices are too much when you compare them to the high price of goods in relation to what the dollar cost now. It is not even the increase in price of petroleum that is leading to all this, it has been happening since before now.

In conclusion, where I am getting at is that; earring in dollar will only make you live a balanced lifestyle between now and later, it will be as if your income is not increasing and neither is it reducing. When you earn in dollar and the price of naira to dollar depreciates, you’ll get more naira during conversion. Now going to the market to buy goods, the price most have shoot up and you’ll end up buying at a higher price than it was before. The worst of it all, is when naira appreciates against dollar, the prices of those goods will hardly fall back but rather they will remain like that. You can now see that, when we are still trying to find other means of having a better life by earning in other currencies, back home we are still being embezzled by our own people again.

If you invest in bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, that does not mean that you are earning in dollar. In fact, you are not earning in dollar but in cryptocurrencies. It is also worth knowing that most altcoins are gambling, you can lose money if you invest in them, but if you invest the amount of money that you can afford to lose in altcoins and you make money from them, it is better you convert them as fast as possible before they will lose value again. It is better to invest in bitcoin.

You can earn with signature campaign on this forum, but that does not means that you are also earning in dollar. You earn in bitcoin. Maybe you are thinking that signature campaigners are earning in dollar because most campaigns are using dollar to estimate the pay rate. That is not true because other currencies like euro or pounds sterling can also be used but dollar is mostly known to people and the reason. The payment is in bitcoin, not dollar.
