2 or 3 people is not everyone. Most see this as just another coin to mine and see what happens. Like me.

Well if at first you don't succeed. Try, try again. Coin name appropriate. We are bit alpha testers.

Also not a bad thing. test based coins have done very well in the past 6 months.

DEV,

Since this is an immediate staking coin, and there are malware concerns, can you please chime in here on why virustotal originally had a hit and then it disappeared 15 minutes later?

My best guess is that virustotal and symantec are constantly changing their databases, it must have changed between my two scans 15 minutes apart. I don't FUD to cause alarm, just wanted people to check the wallet and make sure it is safe. I don't know enough about wallets and malware code to do it, but from talking with a few people it is most likely a false alarm.

Thank goodness I only bought .006 BTC worth of hash on this crap.

Its not crap just because one guy says so.

Well, we will see if checkpoints start to kick in. Otherwise, expect forks as soon as coin starts staking.

it was a symantec reputation flag http://www.symantec.com/connect/blogs/reputation-based-security-suspiciousinsight-detections-virus-total

Don't know if safe or not though

So what exactly is the staking min age for this coin? Also does it matter what stacks you deposit your coins in for the staking?

W/E the case is, someone is throwing some serious hash at it.  Such has over 50 GH/s going at it and is only getting 1 in 40 blocks right now.
people threw serious hashrate at doxcoin too
and they all got rekt when he effed up its wallet and abandoned it.

Thank goodness I only bought .006 BTC worth of hash on this crap.

No virus. No conspiracy. Just mine and trade when it hits an exchange. Like every coin.
