Thanks for removing the hand challenges but I believe that right now the best course of action would be to eliminate the earliest colluders reported. You can refer to Sadsong's thread for that since there should be enough proof via the code that showcases the many folds to one another. I will continue to try and keep the spreadsheet as updated as possible to show their winnings (and who won them).

I think it will be pretty obvious to tell who the colluders are in the limit games once they are forced to create new accounts.

We've released some changes to the poker tournament challenges which should help reduce the number of fraudulent players entering unlockable tournaments. This will give the support team more capacity to work through the reports of collusion and multi-accounter flags.

I agree with you there, and have been saying this for a long time.


That's irrelevant.  The problem I have (which hasn't been answered yet) is if support is unable to catch these bad/inefficient cheaters, how can we have any faith that they are able to catch people who are colluding in a more sophisticated way?  How can you have confidence that any mid or high stakes games are fair if support is unable to catch people cheating at the micros out in the open?

like i said they should just get rid of that freeroll instead of trying to give coins away for nothing, like playing 50 or 100 hands is so hard lol or maybe they should just turn it into a freeroll for all to make it fair so 400+ players can join

You asked for more detail and in turn you turn it into a pissing contest. If you read this thread you would see reports from 2015 but I can force you to educate yourself on a issue.

Its a mistake to write off a issue because you think that the level of play is below you and will not effect you in any way.
Optics is important and when a person joins up and looks at obvious cheating they are more likely to look other places to play.




This is interesting because Nitro has repeatedly told me they could not do this,if what you claim is true,then Nitro has been lying to me or choosing not to do this at the micros. Interesting point,maybe Nitro can clarify that for us.

Granted, $186 (82.21 mBTC) over the course of 5 days isn't that much but you will start seeing them clogging up the lobbies and larger tournaments with buyins, using the money they garner from the freerolls. And now that Nitro added another freeroll that they can abuse, they'll do it even faster.

Despite the fact that you'll probably be able to scratch down a couple of them given that their poker ability is subpar, do you think that's worth having the free chips out there for all to take? (Or potentially, they could win easily when 4 of them are at the same table playing against you)

too much care in this thread. any team that is colluding in a tournament worth a few bucks only.. they probably suck at poker anyways and don't know how to collude properly/effectively.

all i know is most the guys i been reporting for the last few months got frozen before the tourney started so they didnt even get to play but they only started doing that a few months ago

Even if you don't play micros, it should be made well aware that these colluders have found their way into the GTD tournaments because of their freeroll winnings. Doesn't that raise a little bit of concern?

There was one GTD tournament in which 4 of the 21 players were colluders. It's a bit disheartening when you know you're at a constant disadvantage in terms of information. (After all, the very same person knows what's happening and what cards are dead)

Its the same players,you bust them cheating in the hourly,50 hand or 100 hand and you will see them also at the Monday,Wed,Friday and 1k hand.
Find it hard to believe you are unable to scroll back a few pages to follow the issue or even look at the lobby and see the issue but here is a link...

After that report on Friday I thought I would good at response by now on why and what is being done about the cheating,half the field is a problem that should be addressed asap not later! Presumed the devs where on vacation Monday and gave you the benefit of the doubt but its Tuesday now 4 days later.

Even if you are sick of me griping on the issue it is beyond the due date for looking into the issue. It would serve you guys well to show you are doing something as the changes so far are lacking depth and solved nothing. Maybe posting a list here of who was actually banned from that list,I am sure you did ban some but it would help to know you are doing something,rather than finding out those accounts are just inactive for a bit and will pop back up in due time.
Think enough evidence is there with some of these guys I bust each day,watching one table hitting 420 hands a hour! That should be setting off alarms,no?

Its actually not a laughing matter,I have documented it in my thread on the topic.
It will cost peanuts for them to get in and it is well worth it for them when they have multiple accounts in play.

When half the field has been caught cheating at some point its a problem,period!
