I've used Nitrogen sports for quite a while, but I've had my first problem with them that I can remember, and it has to do with questionable grading on a recent Overwatch match between eUnited and ex-ROX.
Long story short, it was a best of 3 series. The first map ended in a draw, so as is typical in these tournaments, a tiebreaker map was played to decide who the winner of map 1 was. Nitrogen is claiming that this first map was a push, which is against how they have graded similar situations in the past.
I approached them with timestamped evidence in support tickets supporting my claim that map 1 was decided via tiebreaker, and they instead quoted me a liquidpedia page as the "official ruling." The liquidpedia page (think wikipedia for video games) has since been fixed to properly reflect what happened for that specific match. After pointing this out to them, I was told that despite the fixes, the official ruling given by the tournament provider was that it ended in a draw.
The very next day, the tournament organizers outright stated on their website that eUnited won map 1. I directly link this to the support group, and nitrogen responds by cropping the evidence, conveniently cropping out the sentence that directly states who the map 1 winner was.
After receiving this response, I asked why this specific event was being graded differently than similar past events, and listed several examples that Nitrogensports had graded differently. I was given a troll response, saying that Nitrogensports couldn't go back and change past grades from that long ago.
I didn't want to spam the thread more than needed, but this is honestly ridiculous at this point. I still have all the timestamped evidence if needed, but it's abundantly clear that the graders are in the wrong here.
I used to have no problem recommending people bet on this website, but it's hard to ignore unreasonable grading like this. It honestly seems out of character at this point.
Hey Rwlarson,
We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you and we understand how frustrating it might be. If you can private message us with your Nitrogen account ID, betlsip # in question, and we can look into the issue.
Or you can email
[email protected] with your account number and betslip and I'll let them know to expect a note from you.
Cheers,
Alex
