Honestly i am happy nitrogen offered this but i am also pretty ticked off at the 24 hours or less registration. I saw this a few days ago when you announced you would be having this free roll and looked forward to it. I figured we would be given a couple days to register. You can probably imagine im pretty ticked off to get on today and see i missed the registration because it was open for less than 24 hours.
Its free though so i guess my being ticked off means nothing.

Absolutely not if the goal is to attract new players. If attracting new players was not the goal of the free roll then i understand. If the goal was to attract new players then absolutely yes, 24 hours is not a reasonable amount of time unless you let people know well in advance that on a certain day at a certain time registration will be open for 24 hours. That way people know when to come. Otherwise you are just making people come back and check day after day and after a few days they may forget about it and then when they check again its too late. Much like what happened to me. If that is how you want to run promotions for new players by all means do so. However, it is far from ideal and it only benefits the regulars that are already playing on the site daily anyway. It does nothing to attract new comers.
At the same time I would think the site would want to reward its loyal customers who have been with the site and not freelroll whooores who just come out for a big freeroll. Obviously the diehard customers are the one who check threads like this and are in the lobby where this promo was repeatedly announced. If you had gone in poker room would have seen 10 btc guarantee. 600 seats is more then enough imo don't need to offer 3000 seats. 600 people came out and knew about the promo. The ones that came out are the regulars on the site who the freeroll should be for. Unlikely freeroll whoores are going to be repeat customers based only on one poker freeroll. Bummer to the loyal supporters who missed out but not shedding any tears for the freeroll whooores.

Will the freeroll happen again? And is there a lot of traffic on the site at poker tables? Its always good to have a new place to play poker at.
I don't think we'll run another 10 btc freeroll in the near future, but we run smaller freerolls on a daily and weekly basis!
