.. it’s pretty common to see people trying to do referrals to their own addresses.

yes that's the fact when i claim with my own address to the same referral address this should not get detected or even end in ban XD
Just small fix in this function Wink

and iam facing again this error XD
You have been bad. Self referrals not allowed. Go sit in the corner for 10 minutes. Contact admin to reset your ref. Remember to say you are sorry.

regards

I need your address, send me a pm. Smiley

And I've softened the implementation of the filter somewhat.
So, this particular issue should now be solved. I had to resort to a little trickery in order to avoid excessive queries, but it turns out I found an acceptable workaround. Lesson learned, there is always room for improvement, even when you initially have a hard time finding suitable alternative solutions.

Hi.
That’s the definition of self referral isn’t it? Using your own referral link?
Anyhoo, just send me a pm with your wallet address and I’ll clear you.
But yes, it’s pretty common to see people trying to do referrals to their own addresses.

I've had few faucets without captcha not sure how good idea is that.

It was fine. For a while... Until someone who knows how to make tidy little bots figured it out. After that they were drained.

Up until captcha was back and everything went back to normal after that.

Let us know how it went for you. Smiley

I've tried it on and off, you can't let the bots loose without any check.
But really, captchas isn't really all that great either.
I guess, we'll see how it goes. I was forced to push an upgrade because I got hammered a few days back.

We will see what the time brings XD

I’ll have to look into that, but that particular piece of code has been updated in the new version. So, let’s see if things change once it’s launched for real. It might be later today if things check out.

Faucets have been stable for the last couple of days, but regardless, the updated code is running on the β faucet now.
Best to do a small trial run before launching it across the board. It seems stable though and the page is identical except for being stronger and faster.

Oh, nothing special or magical, just an unholy mix of php, JavaScript, pdo, html and whatever you call the gibberish you use to tame the Apache server.  Grin
And yes, I do all the work myself, no fancy plugins or expensive extras.
I’m not even using any plugin for the sparkline graphs, lol.
Maybe I’m damaged from doing CNC, Mathlab, SPICE and other machine-/electronics-/acoustics related stuff? Big software bundles usually just slow you down.

Site is looking better. Hopefully you can solve your attackers issue soon.
Working on it, the new code might loose a tiny bit of bling but it should be closer to “bulletproof “.
Most of the heavy lifting is done but the devil is in the details and most of today has been spent speeding up the SQL methods.
It get’s tricky when you go off road and everything needs some exotic custom part because the cookie cutter solutions are too inefficient. I’m a horrible perfectionist and recovering from major surgery isn’t helping either. Lol
What kind of attack it was? It seems that you have some competition  Cheesy Just curious, what language are you programming your faucets with? Do you make protections scripts yourself or you buy them? I know, they are usually expencive to buy so I guess you make them yourself but it would be if you could share what language you use

I've decided to try removing the captcha from the faucet claims.
This is a trial run, but as long as the faucets don't get overrun by bots, I'll try to keep them captcha free.
(I don't like captchas myself and would like to be able to keep the faucets captcha free.)
KemaBCH | KemaBTC | KemaDOGE | KemaETH | KemaLTC

KEMADOGE doesn't work. Continue loading, I can't click "Claim"
Can I do?
It seems the faucets are under some form of attack at the moment. I only noticed a short while ago and will try to find a fix first thing in the morning. I can’t make any promises but I’ll do my best to fix it ASAP.

its not really without captchas becourser i have to solve recpatcha on many skript ad shortener .
But the faucets looks now very clean and more professional Wink
I added the btc faucet to my recommanded faucet list here:
https://yannik.biz/flist.php

kidn regards

Thanks, I’m always looking for ways to improve.
The captchas used in the short links are outside my control, but I do try to make it as smooth as possible given what I have to work with.
For example, I’m currently running a trial having removed popunders from the faucet page.
