No one suggests to put your savings in something this uncertain.

Whether virtual currencies are going to have any future in long term is dependent upon way too many factors. We are still in not that phase where economy won't work with VC. People might lose quick profits if VC got banned and those people constitute very less percentage of total population maybe 2%-3%. So there isn't any leverage at this particular movement which can make VC sustainable and a necessity in long term.

I have read several posts on this forum where people have claimed to have invested all the money they have on Bitcoin, I also read a post where a guy claimed to have used all the $20,000 his uncle gave him to also invest in Bitcoin, some even sold their landed property. The reason for these risks and others is the firm believe that Bitcoin would be $50,000 - $100,000 by the year 2019 or thereabout.

First, I must say that I admire the courage and high risk appetite of such persons. But, I must also warn.
Yes, It is good for everyone to have high hopes for Bitcoin, and also hope it gets to 100k USD in future, but you should also consider a safety factor in anything you do including investing.

Mathematically,

DO NOT Assume,
P(Success of future term) = 1 ; and
P(Failure of future term) = 0

This implies that, you must always leave a little fraction for probability of failure which in this case is the safety factor, no matter how little the fraction may be. Simply put, you don't have absolute control of what happens to Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies in the future.

Invest wisely, only invest what you can afford to loose

Just a piece of advice.

What are your own suggestions?

You are right. Actually, I surmise that everyone ought to comprehend that crypto advertise is the same as some other market and securities exchange. It's exceptionally dangerous so please make a special effort to be cautious before contributing. The best technique is to contribute the cash you can stand to lose in order to minimize loss.

There are some people who are very brave to invest everything they have in crypto or bitcoin, they believe they will get huge profits without thinking about the risks that might make them miserable. A fortune if it turns out they win and gain considerable profits, but if the opposite of course it will be very painful. For me investing well is in accordance with the financial capabilities we have without having to force ourselves, so we will not be afraid of the decline in prices and worry about the risk of loss. Because we will be able to be patient and control emotions in waiting for price increases that we can finally benefit through investing in bitcoin or cryptocurrency.

Very good advice.
In fact, I think that everybody should understand that crypto market is the same as any other market, stock market, Forex etc.
It's very risky so please be careful before investing.
The best strategy, in my opinion, is to invest only money youcan afford to loose and to diversify your investment.
It is not necessary for us to invest all of our money to cryptocurrency of bitcoin. It is better to take time to learn and to know how we could earn more and somehow gain profit with the used of cryptocurrency on transactions, investment or even in trading where we could invest some of our money and came out to start as our capital for us to earn more and used the opportunity bitcoin gave us today as user.

Peoples who investing their money, all of their money, won't get the profit because it is like gambling. if they success, they will repeat this activity.
and at one time when they failed, they will borrow money to cover their loss, and try to gamble again to cover and it will be repeated again.

Yes, it is advisable for many people to invest only a fraction of their capital in the cryptographic market, if you invest too much or all of that capital can make you lose capital.

Thats right , Even I dont invest too much money in bitcoin since somehow Im afraid to lose my money. People always choose to risk even tho sometimes its not the best choice to make. Well we must think of the consequences of the choice we make.

That is right do not invest all your money into bitcoins but you might say that I am against bitcoins by agreeing that statement but no that is also applicable to all of things because if you pit all you have into one thing and it that one thing have failed you or did not meet your expectations you will feel broken and you will lose a lot of things of course so lewrn to diversify all things not just money but in this case of course money

Theres one simple rule here and its up to you if you follow it . Dont risk what you cant afford to lose . But man , selling your land property for bitcoin is quite ballsy . Hats off to that guy , he must be very confident about bitcoin's future . I hope hes not just a random guy who just saw some random posts about people making huge money from bitcoin .

I myself didnt spend a single penny on my pocket . I just started from giveaways , bounties , airdrops etc . So all my investments came from free . So i dont have any fear on investing ni bitcoin since the capital i used was just given to me for my services and some free .

Obviously, if you want to do investment, better you spread your investment to other place not in one place. It might be good if success from just investing in one place, but if you fail, you will lost much of your money.

After reading what one (trusted) member wrote, im not so much in love with Bitcoin as I was until that.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoincom-vs-bitcointalk-attack-has-been-launched-4775762

But I gain good profit from Bitcoin, obtaining most of it when it value was $300, so still believe in its power to do great things. Never forget about Blockchain technology.

Well said, man. I totally agree with your analysis. I think people who give all of their assets to invest in bitcoin is very brave person, but in the other side, i also think that they can loss their money too. Bitcoin is very risky, and we can not deny that. We must be careful before decided to put our assets to it.

Even as a bitcoin lover, I don't think it's wise to invest your all in bitcoin or crypto. Life isn't just about the cryptocurrency world alone. Always diversify. It pays more.

The excitement in people playing with them a cruel joke and some just can not stop and invest all their money, borrow and so on. And in case of failure, they lose everything and blame it on bitcoin, creating a negative reputation for it.

Yes, investment can not be called the most reliable thing in the world, with your money can happen anything, unfortunately, and you can just lose everything. Therefore, always have a safety cushion in the form of gold, for example.

It seems to me that when people see the growth schedule of bitcoin, they Wake up with crazy excitement, like in a casino, they want to achieve maximum profit. But the main thing here is to stop in time and assess all the risks.
