OP I understand your plight and the fact that you find it difficult engaging in activities here as a result of the epileptic power supply here in our country Nigeria. As a matter of fact, this has been a problem in Nigeria when it comes to electricity power supply. Nigeria is yet to tackle the issue of electricity let alone to have it constantly being supplied to the consumers or citizens.

You can be able to work with your phone if you can as I believe there are no much task here on this platform  you can not be able to work out with your phone. When it comes to creating a thread, replying or post or comment even to the point of wearing a signature and avatar, that can be done with a phone although phone features are a bit limited but at most some engagement can be done with a phone.

When it comes to electricity as it regards to your functions here, it should not be a thing of complaint to you because you should always improvise to sort things out. There are phone charging spots where you can go charge your phone for as little as #100 more or less.  At least you have a barbing shop where you go to barb your hair, barbers do not bother their customers when it comes to charging of phone but they can only tell you to watch after your phone as it is your sole responsibility to do so while charging it. You can explore other means of charging your device so as to help sustain your work as the case may be. You may as well consider relocating from that place if you see that the electricity situation there is not favourable to you.

Without electricity you go fit use your phone do other hustle? Electricity is a necessity of life so we no supposed dey complain about am if we want hustle but to find means to use get am. If you no get light, your neighborhood no get light to go bye charge your phone or where to pay and charge your phone no dey your area? And even though none of this alternative dey your area then move to a better area wey you go get all this things. There should be no excuse when e come to hustle. Bitcoin and this forum different, working on the forum as a promoter via signature isn't working in Bitcoin (make you no dey confused the two) Bitcoin no get work but if we wan talk say something na Bitcoin work e go be investing and trading. As a hustler you go need find means to use get the necessary things to use hustle. If you say the forum na ur hustle (wey no wetin you supposed dey talk) then you need look for means to make you get access to the forum always.


Have you considered looking for a job outside the forum since getting access to electricity na problem for you and any job wey you dey do for the forum need your phone to dey on and na electricity you go need to dey power your phone. If you get some money you need buy better phone, ask your friends about their phones to know which phone get better battery quality wey dem dey use so you get get first hand information from experience users as nobi everything we go dey believe for phone manufacturers. You fit also buy alternative power supplies like power banks, small solar just for changing of your phone. This things no go take much from you if truly all your hustle na for the forum and if you no get cash, try look for manual hustle raise funds and use arrange yourself also I go advice you to get other alternative hustle just Incase forum cast make you no dey stranded.

Neither can you use laptop to mine bitcoin. If you want to be mining bitcoin or you want to join a mining pool which is what that is common today, you will need ASICs for it. I do not think OP is also talking about mining, but bitcoin generally. I mean bitcoin trading, investing and learning on this forum.

I don't think it is every Bitcoin activity that can be done with a phone. There are people mining Bitcoin in Nigeria even on low key, there is no way such people will not need stable electricity. When power is made constant in Nigeria, a lot of businesses will boom including mining of Bitcoin.

If it is other areas of Bitcoin generating businesses like the forum, trading and others, then a phone is fine for it. Beyond that, a laptop is definitely needed.

I no think say watin you talk nah excuses for you to get knowledge of Bitcoin or to even own a Bitcoin, I go like share my own story with you, first of all were I from nah place way no even get single electricity and we dey use canoe dey go place because we no get road not even bad road self but e no stop me to learn Bitcoin or to buy Bitcoin, I no get money to buy the solar way you dey talk say e dey expensive but I hustle to get the money way I go use buy am and I buy am knowing say e go help me well well, as I finally buy am I con Lean about Bitcoin from this wonderful forum without having any electricity challenge.
Some days go I travelled out from my local village to bayelsa state based on one or two, nah that time I know say the lack of Nepa light nah for everywhere for the country, so watin I dey try talk be say as you fit no get the money to buy the solar you go fit still but small power bank, you fit dey recharge am not more than N100 for charging centers.

Dis wan no be excuse for you say make you no dey active for here o, becos you gats just improvise if you wan follow for people wey go get knowledge for here. You know say d economy condition of d country hard but u still dey find means dy see food chop daily becos say d food dey very important for your belle. Anything wey you put for it mind say e dey important for you, na so u go take find solutions to am. All of us here na Naija we dey and we know how e dey be for light matter for here, and we still dey get time dey show face for here bcos say we sabi d importance of wetin dey here. So if you get d same idea like us, dis one no go be excuse for you. And you go find permanent solution to dis ur matter for here.


Like many people don talk am, look for power bank wey go last you wella. If one no go do, buy two. If two no go still do you, buy three until you find solution to d problem wey dey stop you from coming to d forum to learn wetin you get passion for. At least if you buy am plenty like 2-3, before dem go all run down, light suppose come for you to go charge am or take dem go charging points one after d oda, to dey charge one as you dey use d oda one dey power ur phone. If dis solution no still work for u, den I no think say dem go get any oda solution to your problem wey go cheap pass this idea to afford for ur problem. No forget say na naija we dey, and we dey always dey find way dey improvise and find solution to anything wey go make us better or where we go learn from to make us better.

How you can get out of the epileptic power supply? I don't think anyone here can give you that answer since we're all suffering from the same plaque as you are and can only mitigate the issue through finding their own alternative. But na so we all they suffer from this lack of electricity o. And that's exactly how other MSMEs are also suffering from it. But like the MSMEs will look for alternatives, me and you too can. At least our activities require less power consumption unlike other businesses.

So what I will encourage that you look for an alternative that can last you several times without Uninterrupted Power on your phone. For example, you can get a bigger Power Bank or add two extra to what you already have. There are also solar charger power banks available. You can get like two of that as a standard. So far as it is to charge your phone devices, that should suffice.

Unfortunately, we live in a country where basic amenities have become luxury. Where comon electricity don turn to something else. Now we gaz go look for other options. But why won't it be like that. I remember during the senate interview of El-rufai for the ministerial position, he made mention of we having around 11 licensed DISCOS (Distribution Companies) of which it's only 3 that are functional. Then why won't their be wasted generated power whereas we are saying even the megawatts currently generated are not enough, yet we have enough being wasted due to lack of transmission and distribution.

No excuse for jungle. Way dey even for where you think say no way. Put your legs down and follow wetin others dey do. Go barber's shop you go fit dey charge or you go try pay to charge at least Dem must get a place wey people dey pay money charge their phones.

Then let your priority be to support yourself with power bank and if I be you, try save and buy like 40,000 watts, with that one you know say e go carry you for 1 weeks plus if fully charged and electricity no dey.

Electricity has been one of the major problems that has hindered our economic growth in this country as due to poor or no electricity, many businesses has suffered setback more especially now that the petrol pump price has been increased thereby making it difficult for business owners that have generator.

It is very funny to see how a country that has not experienced a stable power system will be supplying electricity to other countries like Ghana in compromise of her own country.

However, there is always a way out of every challenge because as a result of negligence from our government in some vital sectors, it is advisable for one to take responsibility of one's needs in other to succeed.

In as much as poor electricity  has been a lingering challenge over the years I think every individual needs to look for other ways of making sure that there business doesn't go backwards as a result of the fact that we don't have a stable power supply as in the aspect of how to charge your devices to continue your interaction in this community, I believe you can sort help to power your devices from a neighbor or business owners that uses generator to charge your devices

Use phone if you do not have enough money. Buy a power bank with it. If you do not really have light, get a second power bank so that you can charge the two at once when there is light. There are phone with 4000 to 5000 mAh battery that can last you almost a whole day with internet. If you can not get it new, get the second hand.

With the poor state of electricity supply in our country and the high inflation of the economy, increase in PMS (fuel ) price,it has become very difficult to use generator, power bank another issue of its own even solar has also become more expensive for people to buy  or even pay in instalment.

Livelihood is becoming more difficult by the day,no money to have your proper and adequate meal,no good job to maintain your standard of living and meet  your needs.

I got introduced to Bitcoin and I have been trying to do my activities, but the condition of poor electricity supply Will  not permit me to easily do my Bitcoin activities in the forum .
How do I find a way out of this epileptic power supply of the country, so that I can be consistent in the forum  performing  my activities .What do i do ? I seriously need your contributions and advice.
