I've seen a lot of faucets switch to recaptcha all of a sudden, lol.  I hope funcaptcha doesn't make a dime for their idiotic policy switch.

900$ month? Are you kidding? I think no one will use that service anymore. And a lot of faucets will be died because of faucet bots. But now someone can create service like funcaptcha was earlier and earn good money with ads or smth . :p

EDIT: for me it's free and account t it closed yet and I don't got any email from them.

Just a shit captcha provider they disabled funcaptcha at my faucet now I changed to g-recaptcha .

LOL around $970.35/month per month for captcha service...Instead of paying such a huge amount a faucet admin would definitely let his faucet get raped by bots...This is the first time I have heard about a captcha service provider asking for money...today I saw a dozen of faucets whose funcaptcha accounts have been terminated...my faucet have no issue so far...It is a fact that FunCaptcha is most effective against bots, but paying monthly fee for a captcha service is a bit exaggerated...If FunCaptcha is going to implement funcaptcha plus module then they are not only going to lose existing customers, but they might altogether cease to exist as a captcha service provider (90% are faucets)...If I am right then captcha providers do earn money by not asking users but through other monetization methods. If not FunCaptcha some other programmer will come up with his/her own service. Faucets do not have to entirely depend on captcha to keep them running, faucet admins will implement some other features and since there is no shortage of faucet users, they would not mind spending a couple of extra minutes to get rewards.

Your faucet looks really nice! Too bad funcaptcha decided to discriminate against cryptocurrency.

Looks like their "monetization" strategy was only for them to make money.

Are they selling this package on the basis of monthly traffic ?

it's totally crazy amount I thought upgrade cost would be 1 or 2 USD /month .

RIP funcaptcha what do you think only funcaptcha stop bots then you're wrong .

Funcaptcha has flaws that's why many faucet owner lost so much money.
who'll pay around 1000 USD per month just for a captcha ?

I guess they didn't find a way to monetize
They could use advertisements in captcha without sharing revenue with publisher .

It looks like they "planned" on being a free service "forever": https://www.linkedin.com/company/funcaptcha---stop-spam-and-earn-revenue-with-a-free-fun-fast-captcha-game

"FREE" is even in their LinkedIn URL!

So "free" changed to "free (trial)". I saw it too. I had tactics like this.

I just switched to reCAPTCHA. I'm happy.

They probably haven't update it yet (last updated May 2015). If you look at a recently updated one (as in Jan 2016) like the one I posted, then you'll see they added "trial" to it.

Not that much of surprise, greed almost always wins out.  Luckily there are many captcha options available.

A bit of offtopic: Are You A Human is actually closing their captcha service at 1st of march. They are developing new service, but there is no info if it will be free or paid.
Really?  Noooooooooooo.  That sucks I like their current captcha. :/
