I think what was banned was when you advertise an ICO or any crypto related form of advertisements on facebook but if you share a topic or anything about the token itself is not prohibited.

In my opinion, prohibited only contextual (paid) advertising in Facebook. For bounty-hunters still remains the news feed (posts) is available.

I want to say, at first I think facebook ban is connected to the page recently does not apply automatically, and there are some explanations because for what I read for facebook terms and conditions, they will only remove the ICO from their paid advertising results and people who are still going to sell this ICO will have no problem because they are not doing anything wrong, and can continue to promote their ICO with their own will.

It turns out that now you can not advertise ICO on Facebook. And what alternatives are there then?

On my Facebook page, I can write posts and # ICO and #Crypto hashtags.
The page was created more than 6 years ago.
And his wife has a page which is 2-3 years old and Facebook does not give her a message related to crypto-currencies. Removes after 40 seconds.
And even if you remove the hashtag, and leave in the text mention of the crypto currency is also deleted.

I just saw that a bounty stopped their facebook bounty program and I read that they are stopping this program since facebook banned ICO advertisements. But I thought that individuals are free to post about the ICOs.

So someone please make clear that facebook totally banned ICO ads or not?

If yes means no more facebook campaigns right then what will be the effect on the ICO sale due to this kind of action.

As I see, many ICOs still offer the Facebook campaign to promote. We can still join and follow the campaign exactly. It seems that the FB still allows the posting and commenting related to cryptocurrency. Some good ICOs are still available to advertise in facebook. It seems like that FB doesn't ban all activities of ICos in their page.

Agree on your opinion

In means that advertisement in fb and twitter will no longer be allowed. But bounties are not restricted. At the same time twitter banned some of  ICO promotion related accounts.

I recently read an article that says there is a policy on Facebook that Ads must not promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings, or cryptocurrency. So it is prohibited to post links that leads to cryptocurrency, but I think it's not prohibited to repost the advertisements of the company in your bounty.

I never encounter yet a bounty campaign prohibits facebook campaign. All bounty programs I partopated had facebooks campaigns and I don't encounter yet regarding prohibiting facebook. Hoping that it will continue so that campaign helps us by paying ad token and help them to promote their product.

Yes i have encountered these problems. One of my campaigns just loose their facebook page. But after few days they got it back. Maybe facebook just ban those who are publicly showing their ICO posts. *Just my opinion

Facebook blocks some pages of users. But those who do not abuse the placement of advertising continue to work normally. I think that soon all bounties campaign will abandon Facebook in favor of Twitter. Although, in my opinion, Twitter will follow the same example.

Face book is trying to stop scamming ico from using their platform to further rip off people hence the ban. but if you are a genuine project and meet up face book demand you will continue to use their platform for your promotion.

it is not important when facebook ban cryptocurrency or not. Because crypto's value does not depend the advertisement. it is used by its technology and payment feature. I believe crypto still develop quickly.

No strong evidence that facebook banning ICO's advertisement hence there are some news we found but is not officially true just only giving a precautionary move for the rules but stated not intended banning totally ICO's campaign.

facebook campaigns still continue to run, but we cannot change the fact that facebook is blocking all the ads creating on their site. they dont tolerate scam ICO to spread some advertisement on it, but I dont say that all ICO are scam, its just that, they want to prevent it.

You're right, Facebook campaigns is still there but not necessary as always because it has a limitations in terms of advertising it into social media they will not allow it because of scams scattered everywhere.
