On checking the altcoin discussion you can find post being started recently. This merit giveaway is a good incitement to get people contributing to that part of the forum but the rules should be enforced to stop unnecessary spamming and bumping on that board it has so much of that already.

Yes of course, personal posts are limited to 2 weekly while post from others are limited to to 2 daily. Eligible posts aren't limited to just started topics but replies are also welcomed.

It seems like this is a very good effort to appreciate the writings of people who are knowledgeable in the altcoin discussion field.

But are you sure enough to receive a different user post link?
Doesnt that cause you to be overwhelmed when there are enough reported user links for you to check. There may be a similar link between their reports if the reporter does not check the posting link that has been reported to you before.

Just for clarification, alt means alternative subboard (i.e the altcoins boards) and yes someone is interested in rewarding quality discussion (hopefully) on that board 😁. This thread will be used to identify users easily, who're contributing positively through discussion to the forum on the alternative subboard. The quality of post are subjected to my judgement as only posts that are above the average in my opinion will be considered eligible to receive merits.

The rules and guidelines are quite simple;

You can only submit link to 2 personal posts weekly.
You can also submit 2 link per submission to post of other (different) users daily (not mandatory, but rewardable)
Users caught cheating will be excluded from recieving this giveway privilege and might be detrusted plus left a neutral feedback of dishonesty.
Although there's no rank barrier, accounts created after this thread was recently bumped (22/01/2020) will be restricted from participating to prevent users trying to cheat with alts.
inactive (recently woke up) accounts are prohibited from participating in this giveway. (Eligible accounts must have been actively posting within last 1 month prior to link submission)

Note 1: The awarding of merit will be distributed throughout each month and not in just 1 or 2weeks assuming there's numerous applicants.

PS: Smerit rewards might be awarded to the post of submission but earned smerit will be awarded to the initial post and not post of link submission.
