Hello, been here for about a week, Here are some things I observed.

Faucets are a huge risk. Coinpot has been really shady lately. ( the site went down for almost 2 days after a 17 BTC exchange happened during the bubble.)

Cloud mining sites are usually scams.

Good luck out there.

Hello everyone (thats me in the pic),

I am here to introduce myself, I am nocturnal jess and I have been talking to friends at work about cryptocurrencies but never really interacted with them or the community. I started getting my feet wet on freebitco.in and am now being encouraged to visit bitcointalk and get involved so I can learn more and figure out how to make a living on crypto. I would love to understand any info offered about currencies and especially about alternate currencies. I have setup a coinbase account and would like to know where to go next, should I start using certain faucets? How do I offer services to earn crypto? What services are in demand that a normal person could offer?

I love calligraphy, I create artwork in a couple styles, I was even told there is a demand for comics on here sometimes? I am partly Venezuelan are there any opportunities to use that to my advantage (Although I live in the states) ?

Welcome to the forum!

You can start by reading links in this topic https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/general-how-to-earn-bitcoins-1629118, lots of good information for beginners there. Also I'd recommend to put in the time on the forum in general. Stick around, lurk and learn, and a lot of questions will be answered for you organically, as you become more and more familiar with the intricacies of the crypto world.
