I think if you are using bit coin just for some extra income and not really for  your regular job. I think it is better to start with faucet on your extra time or on the time when your are on your office and you have nothing to do. You can earn small amount of bit coin with out any expenses and it can also be a good past time. Other thing it is good to recruit others to claim in faucets because you will have referral commission it can make your earning bigger. But if you will use it to make a living, it won't work unless you have a million of referrals that is claiming everyday.
Additional income means that there are many people who choose Bitcoin as their source of income in addition to their job. But as with any business or job, if enough time and patience are invested in bitcoins, one can definitely earn enough profits from bitcoins that will help them financially. While investing in Bitcoin requires long-term planning, patience is very important. Many times we see bitcoin we lose patience we should not lose patience we should invest bitcoin patiently thus if we invest bitcoin we will definitely be one of the successful investors of bitcoin which will motivate us more to invest bitcoin.

The best way to earn bitcoins is to mine Satoshi.
...
Also, if there is any other less costly system, please share; I will try.
An alternative low-cost path would be to offer your paid services to the community in the "Services [assuming that you already have the skills or at least willing to learn something new]" board or in one of the following "freelancing platforms [I prefer not to vouch, so DYOR first]".

I am a newbie and have learned a lot from this forum. The best way to earn bitcoins is to mine Satoshi. I have willpower about this bitcoin mining. But it's costly, the machinery required, and the machines are expensive. I can't say whether it's possible, so I can't do it. Also, if there is any other less costly system, please share; I will try.

To profit from Mining, you need equipment such as ASICs that can produce a fairly high hash rate. It also impacts the hardware's price, including the cost of using electricity to operate it. You can use the following website to compare the value of several ASICs: https://www.asicminervalue.com/efficiency/sha-256.

There are many ways to earn Bitcoin apart from Mining. You can buy Bitcoin via exchange or P2P trading.

You need extremely cheap energy or you won't get a return of investment for the gear, nor any positive profit.

What mining newbies often forget, mining difficulty usually rises more or less, which means your gear mines less coins because your hashrate stays constant while difficulty and global hashrate rises, unless you stack up which means, more investment, longer period for return of investment.

Forget about mining if you can only afford very few ASICs and don't have extremely cheap power for them.

If you don't believe me, DYOR and math! Here is a more sophisticated Bitcoin Mining Profit Calculator, use it wisely.

Yes, it is possible to earn small amounts of Bitcoin for free through various apps and platforms on Android phones. These methods typically involve completing tasks, watching ads, answering surveys, or playing games that reward you with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.

It seems that you mean above is getting a small amount of Bitcoin through a faucet.
Instead of getting Bitcoin, chances are you will get some risks from doing tasks on the faucet, such as malicious ads, etc.

FYI, there are several useful links that you can see in the OP's post on the first page of the thread. Some of them are educational links about the risks of faucets.

There are several ways to earn bitcoins:

1. Mining: This involves using computer hardware to solve complex mathematical problems that validate and secure transactions on the Bitcoin network. However, mining requires significant investment in equipment and electricity costs.

2. Trading: You can buy and sell bitcoins on cryptocurrency exchanges to profit from price fluctuations.

3. Freelancing:Some platforms pay in bitcoins for completing tasks or providing services.

4. Investing: You can invest in bitcoin through various investment vehicles like Bitcoin ETFs, trusts, or simply by buying and holding bitcoins.

5. Bitcoin faucets: These are websites or apps that reward users with small amounts of bitcoin for completing tasks or viewing ads.

6. Affiliate programs: Some websites and businesses offer affiliate programs where you can earn bitcoins by referring new users or customers.

I don't think if there is anyway of any place one can earn free Bitcoin without any useful input. Although, I'm a newbie that have zero or little experience on the process of earning or buying Bitcoin but I'm very sure that no good thing on earth is totally free without a specific prize or effort so as such the same maybe applicable to the earning of Bitcoin.
Even in free town, nothing is free. There is no way to get Bitcoins for free. You have to purchase bitcoins with your money (invest only what you can afford to lose). The alternative is searching for jobs that can pay you in Bitcoin.
@bestcandy stop making multiple posts in a row. It’s against the forum rules.

No, I totally disagree with you that mining is the only way to earn Bitcoin. You can make a significant amount of Bitcoin with the DCA strategy, which also starts with a smaller amount. It doesn't require a large amount; you can just accumulate Bitcoin with a few dollars. While mining required much more money.

Did you know the cost of Bitcoin mining?

It is quite expensive. And we also need a lot of stuff to get done.
Below are some of the components I write that are necessary for a mining plant.
GPU
Power Supply
CPU (central processing unit)
Memory
Motherboard
SSD or Hard drive
Frame
Colling

-snip-

As far as I know, if what is being mined is Bitcoin, then it is currently not worth using a GPU. At least you need to use an ASIC mining tool to mine Bitcoin, even those with a large hash rate if you want to get more profit. The following are several examples of ASICs and their estimated profitability:

So these are all the components for mining. The cost of all these together is quite expensive. Apart from this, stuff like an electric bill, a separate room plus AC, etc. are required. You can also see how much money comes from mining in the below picture. So mining Bitcoin is good, but it is not for everyone to collect Bitcoin. While everyone can accumulate Bitcoin through DCA,.

Nice addition by BestChange [it brought back old memories], but I believe faucet usage in 2024 can be very frustrating for newbies [imagine spending some time to finally hit the threshold and then as soon as you'd want to use it, you'd find out it costs more money to move what you've gotten from faucets (referring to newbies with little to no referrals)] and that might discourage them from getting involved in other fields of Bitcoin.
These days are such times that newbies get frustrated with everything any activity (spending some time on bitcoin faucets, merit-system, pay money to get bitcoin), as if they want to get everything without any effort. Smiley

Personally, BestChange BTC-faucet didn't disappoint me and I have already left my post about this in the corresponding topic - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63855473.

In short, having referrals is not a requirement, but a bonus (+10%).

Boss! I have no enough reward point to participate. What can I do now ?
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63750364
To participate you don't need any points, but only to withdraw accumulated funds (after accumulating 1000 sat.). BestChange is not some kind of no-name, but a project that has existed for decades and therefore their rules are quite transparent and are observed without changes (checked personally).

Don't consider this an advertisement, even though there is a corresponding signature in the profile, but I try to be as objective as possible in my recommendations based on personal experience.

I don’t think you read the entire thread or have an idea how bitcoin mining works. Bitcoin mining is a very expensive business, you have to consider the cost of acquiring ASICs, electricity and maintenance. This isn’t something everyone can afford. The cheapest way to accumulate bitcoins is to DCA and buy little by little until you reach your set target.

It probably won't make you a millionaire, but it will allow newbies to get their hands on bitcoin without any time-consuming effort or monetary investment.

I don’t know if there are other operating BTC faucets now,
There are still a few left: Micro Earnings

I have participated in so many of this bitcoin faucet but it turns out to be scam, first they will look so real and promising faucet, but the withdrawal aspect is very annoying.however you will be ask to make at least 10  referral before you will be qualified to withdraw, after getting this 10referral they will also bring a different task, and the funniest part is that after you succeeded in doing all this task you won't even get paid, is very frustrating.
