The managers of Teehe declare that this IPO is now terminated.
As stated in Prospectus document, IPO will be terminated before April 1st, 24:00 UTC.

IPO has failed as minimum of $90,000 was not pledged by investors.

We will start payback procedures within 12 hours, depending on manpower available and we expect to finish it within next 48 hours.

We have received a decent number of requests today as last minute request to participate, and they have all been declined. We are sorry if we did not answer to everyone with explanation and we consider this post a proper explanation for our declining.

Some statistics:

Total pledged and deposited funds stand at just under $60,000; also $3,000 authorized but not delivered and $4,800 offered but declined by the managers in last 48 hours.

Great majority of funds have been deposited in form of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin also experienced great loss of value during this period, sliding down from $290 to low of $236 endangering value of pledged funds.

Just under 30 persons have participated in this crowd funding.
Total number of inquires was not much larger, at about 45.
About 190 messages was exchanged with investors in private.
This forum has 134 comments and is second most viewed post on this forum of all time.

Even though we promised total anonymity, about 40% of applicants either used standard alias or provided more than enough information to deduct their identity.
Some applicants presented their real name.

It is guaranteed by the managers that no information will be leaked and all evidence will be destroyed after payback is complete.

We thank you all for supporting us and asking right questions. Thanks to those who doubted us for keeping the balance.

We get it, its hard to get involved with March Madness and all the happenings in the sports world...

It is all about finding positive expected value plays. Teehe is a +EV investment!

Take the time and do the research. For a quick read view the company description in the prospectus here: http://teehe.net/pdf/teehe-prospectus.pdf

We are making our way to our investment goal

Do not miss out!

Teehe.net
I just visited your website and first thing that struck me was this sentence: "We aim to provide a secure, user-friendly platform using a nonvolatile digital currency".
Care to explain to me what it means? Because from what I could see every 'digital currency' is volatile.

Welcome to the world of https://nubits.com/

Nu has maintained a 1:1 peg to the USD for over 6 months now.

Teehe will utilize NuBits in the backend system exclusively, allowing Bitcoin deposits and denominated balances in USD, or whatever currency the user prefers.

We have added new developers, as well other new changes over the last week so the business plan needs a bit of an update. It is still worth the read http://teehe.net/pdf/teehe-businessplan.pdf

It is an exciting time for the venture as funding is about to close and development begin.

We are here to answer any and all questions

Best,

Cross-post from one of our forum threads:

"One of the biggest benefits that I didn’t see emphasized is that you wouldn’t need to work with payment processors like of you would if you were using fiat. In my experience with poker sites, not having to work through payment processors solves several big problems:

1) There is always a chance that player funds can be frozen while they are in transit. 2) Payment processing fees are one of the biggest expenses that gambling sites have to pay 3) Payment processors are a hassle and cause a long delays especially in the US. Since it’s such a hassle, players often end up leaving relatively large balances on the site instead of cashing out, because it’s such a pain to reload. This helps enable the site operators to misuse player funds to pay operational expenses.

By bypassing payment processors, you not only sidestep one of the enforcement mechanisms of UIGEA, but you avoid a major expense, and you make it much easier for customers to trust you because they only have to keep their money on deposit with you while they are actually gambling with it."

There’s a lot of skepticism on this thread and I get that, especially since the OP has chosen not to reveal his real-life identity. Bitcoin has been rife with scams. However, in this case I think his proposal has a lot of merit. First of all, OP has demonstrated his technical competence and is a well-respected poster in the Peercoin community. Given the nature of the business and the risks involved, his desire to stay anonymous is certainly understandable.  Secondly, I have read the Teehe prospectus and business plan and both appear to have a frank and carefully analyzed evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of their approach.

Most businesses fail, so I don’t know if this one will be successful or not. But it does sound like they have a very competent and experienced team and the idea of being able to bypass payment processors while offering wagers denominated in USD equivalents is something that seems like it has tremendous potential. AIUI, the peershares platform makes it possible to anonymously distribute dividends relatively easily. Everyone has to run these kinds of proposals through their own BS-detectors and come to their own conclusion, but IMO this one does not smell like a scam.

We appreciate the analysis and feedback, many are quick to come to conclusions without doing proper research.

Completion of the first week of the IPO:

Contributed funds stand at 11,042.30 PPC, 1500 NBT, and 62.99 BTC

Amount contributed at time of contribution $22,518

At current market prices approximately $22,150

is there any where that I could check this amount that you claimed? considering the fact I dont see anyone interested with your project in this forum

Ann: Professional artist joins Teehe team. Art and design professor with background in gambling.

Perfect combo.

Mind telling who are they? perhaps some profile or their proftfolio

There may not be a lot of interest or activity on this forum thread, however there is significant interest and discussion here: https://discuss.nubits.com/t/ipo-teehe-dao-sports-book-and-casino-based-on-peershares/1734

The answer to both of your questions lies in the anonymity of the network, we can not disclose this information, unless the individual has a pseudonym attached with their work.

Peershares allows the Teehe team to distribute equity and profits outside of the traditional corporate equity system (preferred and common stock, bonds, etc.). Teehe must maintain anonymity of shareholders including information that could be traced to these individuals like transactions on the blockchain. An elimination of anonymity is a point of failure for the organization if legislation were to negatively shift in either the cryptocurrency or gambling industry.

It is worth noting that Teehe is not an illegal business nor is an investment in Teehe, but due to shifting legislation, managers share similar foresight of Satoshi to stay anonymous.

We are aware that start will be harder, but it will pay off in the future.

We invite you to learn more about our venture; the executive summary of business plan and FAQ are a good place to start http://teehe.net/pdf/teehe-faq.pdf
